Thanks for watching! I'd appreciate it if you hit the like button or leave a comment as that tends to make the video perform a little better and expose it to more people. Also let me know something else that you think this TV Wall should be able to do that I didn't mention! Plans will be out on Monday or Tuesday as I'm now on vacation for a week so getting to it when I can 🙂 Also follow my instagram @drewbuildsstuff for a more personal glimpse of my life

just wanted to say that the 3070 graphics card that you are currently using goes for like 700 USD rn on the market. its not that bad of a card but I can see how running 3 4k TVs off of it can cause some resulation problems. you could try using a rtx 3090 but kiss your wallet goodbye if you do that. @@DrewBuildsStuff A lot of people find it easier to find the time and or focus to sit down for 5-10 minutes at a time. I'm one of those people. I see 45 minutes and I click "Add to watch later" - which is really just a graveyard of really interesting stuff that's just too long for me to sit down and watch. Food for thought. Only reason I'm watching this is because I wanted to see if you figured out the Nvidia Surround - mission accomplished :D

I think it suits the windows view but for anything else it would bother me too. Frameless tv's would've been perfect for this and instead of simulating 3 windows, just simulating one big window. Congrats on getting the new table saw. The little wedge of metal sticking up behind the blade is called a riving knife, it helps prevent kick back. Yours appears to be loose, which would make it ineffective. There's a little lever down inside the saw that you can use to tighten it up.

@@MNiTwInInG He could have built a false wall with windows, then use a short throw projector behind it. That would add a parallax to the outdoor scene. As you walk around the room, the background would seem to move more properly and give a 3D effect. Bonus for adding a small HVAC so you can open the windows and feel the cool/warm air of the scene outside. For gaming, have the wall swing out of the way (double-door?) or up to the ceiling and you have one large screen with no gaps.

Great video, explained the whole process, decision making and you kept me fully focused for the entire length of the video. Couple of practical and design tips: you could have mounted that outside camera a bit higher to serve as a proper surveillance camera and since it can adjust the angle vertically would be okay for your virtual window purpose still :) Gaming chair would be easier to cary and store if you made the 3 main parts bolted and quick paint to black/dark gray would make it look much nicer in your room. But other then those small details I am impressed with the level of craftsmanship and DIY skills in general

I agree a projector is a great idea if you want to spend the money of a short throw laser projector. Remember he says he uses it every day for 2-3 hours just for the window feature. Now add in the gaming hours and TV/Movie hours and now he would be buying lamps fairly frequently. The other issue with projectors is latency. The average latency that is considered "good" on a projector is about 32ms and that is not "good" when compared to monitors or tvs. Many projectors are closer to 100ms and that's unplayable. So now you are looking at a High Lumen output Laser Projector with Short Throw and Low Latency... go ahead and do the research.... I have.... They do exist but how much do you want to pay?

I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !

Huge difference with the diffused lighting. Looks great too. I noticed that you go out of the way to take care of the little things that really make a huge difference to the end product. And I think that that's extremely important to whatever it is your creating. I'd say it actually helps you to be more creative and come up with more ideas on your projects as well. I enjoy watching your content as I would do the exact same things, but people also say I'm obsessive lol. You make it look so easy though! And the products you use, I didn't know that half of them existed lol you should be their spokesperson seriously. :)

Gosh, I have to say your creativity and knowledge when it comes to woodworking is really inspiring. I just bought my first house about 6 months ago and needing to learn how to fix stuff myself really got me wanting to learn to do stuff like this, and just add some really unique and beautiful accents and features. If you have any tips on where to even get started learning how to do stuff like this or what tools are staples in your workshop that you cant live without, I would love to learn more! Thank you for the video!

Awesome video, one of the best I've ever seen. NO corny jokes, no fluff and sped up at the perfect times. Right to the point no long talking and explanations. You are talented!!! I was entertained the entire video. Make sure you do all your videos just like this one! You were able to get a lot in one video. This video could have easily been three videos but because you don't do any useless talking points and cringy jokes you crammed a lot in one video. I'm watching this video thinking "This guy would make a really cool friend to have"...AWESOME JUST AWESOME!!!

Excellent idea to make that window. Future upgrade could be a huge microled when they come - and get enough tiles to fill the same area to become a single 8K surface. Looks like a dream come true - and it's cool that you show how it's done for others wanting the same thing :)

@@Hypno_BPM Lol. Yes. I have four kids. Do you remember the age of everyone of them? I don't. I just have a general idea. One of them just left my office. I'm busy making sure they are relatively comfortable. When it's their birthdays, they talk about close to the time and I'm able to get cakes and gifts. That's it. Sue me. When you have kids, you might get it unless you're one of those men who make up for not having so much money by recording every detail about the kids such as birthdays and so on. How many birthdays am I supposed to remember? I've forgotten mine before while working on a project for a client until it was 3 AM or so into the next day. Who cares? It's just a gratuitous celebration anyway. It doesn't celebrate any real achievement, growth or development. Just some days. That's my take.

The whole thing is an absolute vibe!!! Beautifully done 🤗 My engineer brain was trying to figure out the bezel thing the entire video. I bet if you put the middle TV forward and inch and the two on the sides back an inch, and move them closer to one another, I think you could probably lessen the thickness of the bezel and no one would notice. But that would also depend on the televisions used. Just a thought... Nicely done 👌

Wow, cool build. It amazes me how many people are whining about the bezels. Ignore the haters who have nothing but jealousy and are too petty to realize that they don't matter in anybody else's life so they compensate by trying to force their useless opinions on other people they'll never even meet and about things they'll never be provided enough to interact with. Keep building what, where and how you want!
