We are finally starting the Type R build! In today's video, we head over to Art of Attack to pick up some of our new JDM parts for the car. Some HKS goodies and J's Racing bits! Once we get to the shop, we install the HKS Spec-L exhaust on the Type R.. it sounds AMAZING!

I honestly love the Honda Civic Type R, EG and S2000 build series more than the Skyline ones, I’m looking forward for more of them, and also looking forward to the WRX series, by the way, change the front grill on the Type R to avoid overheating issues.

Don't forget to replace font pipe and downpipe. They make the biggest difference in exhaust flow on the 10th. And a retune for sure.

Yeah and it helps with Turbo flow output and overall performance. The car manufacturers restrict their engines in accordance to government rules.

Sick! I have the hks legamax on mine, a bit bigger piping and louder than the Spec L, but the quality of hks is so good. Guy that installed my exhaust said it was the easiest exhaust to install ever. Get prl down pipe, front pipe and then tune to go with It! Love the type r Content!

My favorite exhaust for the fk8 are the Fujitsubo, 27won, AWE touring in that order. They get the perfect burbly note out!

22:00 I would say wheels and suspension, but you're already doing that, lol. Only things I can think of would be a new intake, dyno/tune day (maybe a flex fuel sensor/tune? E85 ftw), and a short shifter.

You have to do the PRL High Volume Intake, I have it on my FK8 it’s totally worth it!! I know you are leaning towards HKS for the build but it’s the one thing you need to be different

The fk8 really is the best all around daily comfortable practical and quick i was able to fit a 40gal water heater in the back of mine one time without issue really don't even need a truck the type r can do it all

FK8 and then a FL5! The only issue with the FK8 is the overheating issues while tracking. Hopefully the FL5 fixes that
