I was born and raised in Montana in the Flathead Valley. It’s a beautiful place to live. I’m sure you could build a nice place off of Flathead Lake for a pretty reasonable price. I think you would like the area very well but I’m not sure how you would take the snow lol But you can get a fairly sizable house for the money. The one thing that is a bonus is that when you buy a house that size and spend that kind of money you typically get acreage. It’s always nice to have a bunch of land.

Just as an aside Michael, if you have acreage why not put a runway and hangar down, Firstly you have value added to the property and saved on hangar and landing fees for the Jet. Remembering that a hangar is just a big barm so would not be that expensive. Look for a Pilatus and all you need is improved land for a grass strip.
