@@MiguelDsm What clutch your going to run and what kind of flywheel too?! Oh happy for you, on your evo journey. You came a long ways 😄
@az_3kgt7146 ай бұрын
My center piece ripping out of my evo10 was the exact reason I had to pull the trans and replace the clutch and put in an act monoloc in my evo10. Tried grabbing a gear one time and pulled the throw out bearing out of the pressure plate.
@MiguelDsm6 ай бұрын
Guess it happens more often than not. I always hear the monoloc is a must
@az_3kgt7146 ай бұрын
@@MiguelDsm Well the fact that it did it on the first attempt at doing any sort of speed shifting..i would say yes. And Its know to be an extremely weak system to retain that throw our bearing in the pressure plate.I wouldnt put any pull type clutch with out a monoloc in it.
@MiguelDsm6 ай бұрын
We were considering the throw out bearing as well with it not being OEM. I guess welle see how it works out

Grateful for them man. Wouldn’t have been able to get this far without them. As far as everyone going their own ways, it’s true. If you stay involved in the car scene you just end up meeting new car friends. Some people are only their for a chapter in your life and there’s nothing wrong with that

Did you have the felt washers between the clutch fork and springs? Not sure how important they are but I read it was suggested to replace them when you do a clutch and have the transmission out.
