I bet this was probably minimum $100,000 but seeing she did some of the work herself, $85,000.. custom built shed, windows, electrical, insulation, nails, plywood, rental of tools, paint, joint compound, etc... she did a great job!
@Regirl755 жыл бұрын
Taylor true and great points, especially when it comes to location, contractors cost and so on but some people think it’s inexpensive when in reality it isn’t even if they’re DIY-ers.
@Regirl755 жыл бұрын
L Jay you’d be surprised but why would anyone want to build a shed if you’re only renting? I must’ve missed that part. The things I considered are the steps she had to take in order to prepare for this build. The cost for gravel and bobcats to level out the spot, did she need permits, the cost to deliver the shed, the size... was it prefabricated or did she design the unit? Running electrical units... Everything adds up and by the end it’s not what you thought it would cost. Maybe it was cheaper but we will never know unless your in this business.
@ljay79205 жыл бұрын
@@Regirl75 I've built a house. There's no way it cost $100K. But also, maybe it is movable, like a trailer home. So maybe she can take it with her. I think it cost around $20K.
@Regirl755 жыл бұрын
L Jay you might be right... it would have been nice to see the breakdown of cost for the build but have you seen how much these youtubers spend because they have disposable income?!!! That’s why I said you might be surprised.

Actually I’d put paper backdrops for photos right in front of the door! When you open both doors, you get TONS of beautiful light coming right at you, which is so flattering. Or you can open just one if there’s too much light. As a photographer, natural light from the sides can make it very hard to shoot. Sometimes it gives a nice touch, but for example when shooting portrait, it will bring too much of a side shape and put center in the shadow. And shadows themselves will be quite difficult to work with. You need to think about maybe switching plans for table and backdrop places! But otherwise, very beautiful space to work in!

@@TashaLeelyn you cant avoid scuffs, stains and marks .. it will chip, it will leave dirty great big black scuff marks from the rubber feet on pretty much any table, couch, lighting, camera tripods, shoes and etc.. you will need to get on your hands and knees to get that off which will wear down and chip the paint... dark wood would hide all of that much easier... why not just put down a bunch of rugs in the mean time or carpet off cuts?

Hi there! This turned out so beautifully, I am currently working on something similar to this. Can I ask you how did you go about casing and framing the interior of your doors? Since the door is pre-mounted and it only has the 2x4 jams, it's not very aesthetic. I've done my window jams and casings, but it's a little bit different process and I'm having a hard time researching the right way to do it. Would you happen to have any information you can share about what you did to yours? I'd be so grateful!

I would've gone with a wooden floor or a faux wood laminated floor. The amount of mud that will be tracked in will be unreal.
@1982MCI4 жыл бұрын
Smewzy Creations you guys are the biggest group of idiots I’ve ever seen!! Don’t you think that if your gonna track mud in on a painted floor then what’s gonna happen if she had put laminate, wood, or carpet down? I guess it will be magically chased out of there never again to be seen by a camera!!! The finished floor has nothing to do with tracking mud in and after spending the money on doing this I’m quite sure this young lady will put a doormat or something down to wipe her feet on. A painted floor is a fantastic choice for the floor as long as she chose a good paint and will actually hold up better than most finished residential floors so please know what your talking about before you open your mouths and let your foolishness roll out! She did a fantastic on it and I’m very proud of her. And I’m a retired custom home builder so I’ve been around more than my fair share of custom construction and flooring installs, she did awesome!

Smewzy Creations I’m not being hostile. I was talking about all the folks comments that were giving her a hard time because of what she chose to do for flooring and I was siding with her for painting. At least with a painted floors are easy to clean and if she did track mud in like other comments said then it would be easy to clean up. I was calling the other commenters that were giving her a hard time about her choice but I was not so if I sounded hostile then it was hostility towards all the crap comments being directed towards the poster of the video but not her directly because I thought she did a fantastic job.
