the soundsticks are a pain in the ass because of how short the wires to the sub if you have it on the floor plus trying to cable manage and tuck everything..... very frustrating

Hey man when you are filming do you just record continuously moving the camera around etc then edit it to have short segments with different angles? Like when building the desk how many times do you stop building and move the camera around. Awesome lighting too btw. Just trying to learn how to film

Do you really use the monitor light (benq) with a standing desk? It's pretty unusable when the monitor is too high up (which is surprisingly not a lot) or reclined slightly for ergonomics, you'll either get the light straight in your eyes or glare on your monitor/desk, the backlight is still pretty nice though. A backlit keyboard does the same job well enough tbh, though might depen on how bright your room is, the benq is REALLY bright even on minimum, seemed more something you'd want to read books or draw on a design table. It's still a good light, just really not to be used anywhere and for everyone as Jesse says here imho. However the hue lights are pretty good, but you might need quite a few if you want a full led setup with some strips as well. Even if you don't like them much for pc you can stick them under desks and against walls/bookshelves for mood lighting and can do a bunch of interesting stuff with a bridge or smart home. Just beware if you don't have a desk facing the wall evenly, as the light won't diffuse right. Edit: a few more points, if you don't have a monitor arm but an up and down stand, it's likely that the stand is gonna be where the backlight/mount goes, covering the backlight, if it even fits, unless you put the lightbar to the sides. The benq still works VERY well as a desk light, better if the monitor is the center of the setup and the room is already well lit. It's a very good looking lamp and light, that usually doesn't glare on the monitor/highlight dust unless it's so high that you have no good angles. Although i haven't tried other lightbars, it's just too bright to be used with a pc in a dark room imho. Just get 2 evenly diffused hue backlights against a wall, maybe a led strip and lower screen brightness if u can. Or make a nice full led setup! GL!

Since he had problems with it already, it provably kicked the bucket and had to replace it.
