building my first gaming pc ♡ (white aesthetic - Lian Li 011)

hiii! this is my first time building a gaming pc and it was a lot of fun! cost me my life savings but it was worth it. This has been on my bucket list for a while so it was so rewarding to have finally completed it! I built this pc to match my white aesthetic(/vaporwave sometimes) and i think i did alright.

Awesome build , but you know that the graphic card is used in mining? This is renewed graphic cards sells for cheap cuz they used in mining so you better getting a new one with other brands (Msi , gigabyte , asus , zotac , xfx , sapphire ) and more good brands but cool build. 💜

Hey, as a suggestion I think it would be best for you to replace your plushie with a white Funko Pop of any kind as it could damage your fans later and give your aesthetic an upgrade. How to build a gaming pc: 1. Spend most of your budget on fancy aesthetic look rgb wires, dram and etc 2. Buy a 6 years old gpu from noname chinese vendor 3. You good to go! Now you can enjoy your brilliant -30 fps on minimum settings in most new titles- gaming expirience!

I built my first one myself just last month after years of buying pre builts and it was easy except cable managment,that was most annoying part but got it done.Feels good to build it yourself.I got the hyte y60 case and its awesome case.

how do you paint your gpu to white? wouldnt it damage the parts?

it’ll damage the parts if you try to do it without removing the casing from the actual components. this is my small explanation i told someone else. you’re gonna need to unscrew the casing you’re gonna paint (you may need to reapply thermal paste after if there isn’t pre existing thermal pads) get a good spray paint that is heat resistant and make sure the can is about 8 to 10 inches from the gpu and spray it in a quick back and forth motion. you don’t want any puddling so take your time with that motion and wait for it to dry. then you can do a second coat, a third, a fourth, or just until you reach the desired pigment of white. Then just let the parts dry and reassemble it :)

I hope you get something better than that RX 580. My 1060 performs basically just as well and my computer was bought used like 5 years ago. For your CPU (12700K) you could get a 4090 and not bottleneck (at 1440p+).

Hello, your assembly is very nice, for my taste your white video card I take you to buy more for aesthetics than for performance. That will lead to a loss of performance, you should consider upgrading at the earliest opportunity. Again, what a nice set.

Nice job, I like how you compress a 3 hour build into a 10 minute video. Cable management itself would be well over an hour. The fans for the radiator should be placed on the outside drawing cold air not the warm air from inside the case. You haven't made a provision for an intake fan. All of them are exhaust. Not really practical, since you'll be drawing in a lot of dust and whatever air that gets drawn in will get sucked out immediately by the fans at the bottom of the case. Wow, your room temperature must be cold for the AIO cooler to show 26 degrees in temperature. 😄

Oh yeah i compressed the video a TON😂 and the fans on the bottom are set as intake! i wanted to add more on the back as intake but again i ran out of money lol and yes i have to have my room cold constantly to be comfortable😅

I don't know why I got recommended this video but I've gotta say... I got a RX 480 in late 2016 and the thing is a beast! It's still working and games still runs great on 1080p and I still don't feel the need to upgrade since AMD is still supporting it with driver updates and the FSR upscaling is just awesome and prolonging it's life! Though I mostly play JRPGs, older/indie titles and a lot of emulation, so it's plenty powerful just for those. The most graphically intensive game I have is Shadow of the Tomb Raider, while I need to turn down some settings, I still get a good looking 60fps experience! Latest games I tried with it is the RE4 remake demo (performance mode) and the Diablo 4 beta (medium preset) and it runs them pretty great like over 60fps no problem! The price to performance value of the card to me is like unbeatable! Really really great card and I cannot praise it enough! XDDD

The pricing of GPU's in the last few years is just ridiculous. If you can get a good price on a 3060 or 3070 or an AMD 6700xt or 6800xt, do it. Worth it if you can get it for cheap enough and will easily handle 2k or 4k on lower settings! Would last you years. No reason to spend $1000+ on a new one.

Lian Li 011 was also my first Pc built and i can savely say its the best Pc case ever, even today. There is no competition against that one, as it offers a great many options and has great cable managment in the back with holes that make sense. The aestatic is next to none.
