I dream of a big beautiful log house that I can build myself with trees I can harvest without cost. This is much more than a dream house, because it is my main focus and ambition and with that it is going to become a reality in due time. It is going to be an incredible project and journey and I cant wait to share it with all of you friends on KZbin.
Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of KZbin friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
Thank you for watching

Do not change a damn thing...as a 73 year old grandmother with a father and brothers that logged years ago I am so proud to watch you as a young man doing a very dangerous skill. The safety you take is right on top! Keep doing what you think is best, your choice and so far.........perfect!

Just a suggestion but if you wanna give your vids a nice bump really lean into the off-grid part of it in your titles and tags. Off-grid home building is super popular these days with the rising cost of everything. Love what you're doing keep up the great work.

That's good advice. We really came across him by accident. We found him a few years ago when we were looking up outhouses. We loved seeing him build his "shitter" and we've been onboard ever since.

I'd say he's about as "off grid" as any of the youtube 'off grid' channels. I love his 'cut to next scene' simplistic editing with none of the fancy shmancy bs. This kids the real deal and knows more at his age than most adults .

@fwar83 DON'T you dare change a bloody thing !!!!! Screw the "off grid community" .... Kyle you are SO MUCH MORE than that pathetic bunch of try-hards !!!! The way you do it is the VERY THING that attracts us to your channel. The fact that you DON'T use gimmicks like the others, no, you're raw and authentic young man... stay that way !!!!! Let's just have you like you are , it's so enjoyable being with you in the nuts and bolts of everything you do. You bring back so many memories for me and esp of my old dad , whom I see you as a modern day version of !!! Logging in the early days of 1900 in the early settlement of the Catlins ,in the south of New Zealand. Even when I ķnew him he was still as rough and ready as you are , I loved him to death. You have the same attributes , so don't let anyone tell you to be like " the others" ...you be you Kyle and we'll love and support you. NOW , let's get it done man. !!!!!!🇦🇺🤗💞🙏👍✌️👏🇨🇦

@@heatherclayton-callaghan4270 adding off-grid to a title and description or in a hashtag isn't a gimmick. It just broadens his reach. Besides, I can't see Kyle changing the way he does things. Thank God!

Dude, you are a huge inspiration. Can't imagine the feeling you're gonna get when this is all done, let alone for all the years from now living in a house that you yourself built. Your knowledge and skill to be able to do all this on your own is impressive enough, but the fact that you're also recording and commentating is insane. I feel like your channel is going to blow up as this series progresses. Also, in case you ever should need extra support to help complete your vision, I would definitely be more than happy to send you a few bucks to help out. Easily one of the most deserving people I could imagine contributing money to.

Man I enjoy watching ur videos I'm blown away how u live ur life and live out in the bush the way u do I'm from Boston mass and I'm a city kid but seeing how resourceful u are and how simple u keep it is so unbelievable to watch especially in this modern world I think alot of people forget how to actually enjoy ther life even if it's hard work just goes to show u how 1 young man can build his dream alone in the woods with a pick up truck and a chainsaw sweat and muscle. Unfortunately know a days sum of these young guys are growing up to be soft. We need more men in this world that know how to build and use ther hands get dirty alittle it helps to fight covid. 👏 keep it up my man ur a beast

So im a truck driver. I drive 80000 pounds of steel down roads and mountains in snow and rain, dust storms and everything in between. Yet everytime I watch one of your videos you always make me feel like I should be doing more with my life. I grew up on a farm and I miss doing all the hard work and learning how to do things yourself is just so liberating and rewarding. I plan to one day (in the next year or so) buy a piece of land to do exactly what you are doing now and I know for a fact I'm going to love every second of it. Every video you make inspires me more and more and more and I'm so grateful that you take the time to post these videos and share your experiences so I just wanted to say thanks sooo much and to let you know that you do make an impact on people lives wether you realize it or not and its truly an amazing gift. Keep up the good work my dude!
