If the epoxy is sticky after a day you probably were not mixing enough hardener. Or the temperature was too low for the combination you used

You should have worn gloves while fitting the glass fiber tape to the seam. Some folks develop sensitivity to epoxy through skin exposure. Thus, your video at this point does not show appropriate safety procedures.

You definitely should use gloves when working with epoxy. If not immediately, you are likely to develop an allergy that will frustrate you a lot.

Nice work. I do tend to put two strips of masking tape parallel to joint as a guide to help keep the tape straight. Also I would use gloves to keep hands clean!

Hi Geoff, thank you for your comment, yes, you are right, the tape would really help! Gloves would also help, I have tried different gloves to work with, but for me it is just not helping to work with them, I simply can’t. Thanks!

Epoxy doesn’t “dry”, it hardens on the basis of a chemical reaction. The glasfiber normally flexes once you apply the epoxy, allowing you to follow the shapes.
