I actually just got a sony 43 inch X85K to use as a monitor for my computer engineering position as well as im going to be ordering the 32 inch version of the G7 to go on top with the ability to be pulled down to play Apex and COD any pointers on the mounting? Kinda need some help. (Going to be mounting to a desk)

Love that you put the white vinyl back on the monitors. The measurement and alignment requirements must have been nuts. I recently painted various hardware and mounts based on what I saw on your channel. I went ahead and spray painted my mounts and other hardware. I recently submitted to setup wars, and did a setup tour on my channel. Thanks for the inspiration!🙂

Hi Edgar, if you flip the top ultrawide by 180 degrees so that the bezel is at the bottom, you'll have a perfectly clean & thin bezel line connecting the top of all 3 monitors, while the bottom bezel will be mostly hidden by the bottom monitor. It would look even cleaner, try it out my guy! 👍

you should flip the top centre monitor and have the thicker bezel at the bottom because your lower monitor overlaps the bezel anyway. And the thicker bezel at the bottom will help hide that gap, and it will put the thinner bezel at the top to more closely match the side monitor bezels.

I dont know if you have already thought of this. But you could lay down the backboard flat. That way it should be way easier to align the monitors. At least without having to balance them on wood blocks, books and what not..

What a journey! I'm going to miss this series, but as we all know, desk setups are never truly "finished." I know I can't stop tweaking my own. As a side note, I'd be very interested to know how the thermals are on BRv4 now that it's mounted so close to the wall. It looks great with the flush mount, but I worry that there isn't enough space behind the radiators for exhaust.

ED, you can put a flat monitor at the bottom and turn it up side down so that the non-screen bar will go below the curved one and no part of that flat monitor will be covered by that curved one

now since you got this litte overlap of the high refresh rate monitor to the ultra wide, you could basicallly flip the ultrawide so that you don't loose any screen real estate. since the overlap would only cover the bazzel.

Changes I would make if I were to that kind of monitor setup is I would move the top monitor up. Move the top monitor up enough to where the top corners of the side monitors aren't lined up with the top corners of the upper monitor, instead the side monitors top corners would be lined with up about half way up on the upper monitor. Or about high enough to wear the top monitor isn't uncomfortable to look up on, but the bottom monitor isn't uncomfortable to look down. I'd also get a bigger mousepad across the desk mousepad, so it gives a better more filling effect.

The gap and the monitor issue isn't because it's not flat. You didn't consider adjusting that curve you wanted. To have no gap, you need the same monitor on the top and bottom. Then you can angle it and there won't be a gap. Simply physics. The bottom monitor has the same curve, but tid smaller so it's curving sooner than the top monitor is, creating the gap.
