a tip for wanting more cozy lighting with windows! certain curtains allow you to actually close the curtains for a comfier ambiance!

Man, I gotta say this is my favorite island ever. I've been watching a bunch of speedbuilds/build ideas and tutorials, and I've been getting that itch of redoing my island. I have an RPG-kinda style, u'know; a market, a woody area, a farm, different vibes and colors; needs to be polished, but I would like to just rework the same builds I have. I will definitely look up to your island for inspo and try to have your whole calm and easy going vibe while building. Subscribing for your amazing video, personality and island! For islands like this where I just want to decorate, and decorate it quickly, I absolutely use treasure islands. There are a bunch on Twitch, and I think most of them are free. I would love to do an island only using stuff I've organically gotten in game, but for stuff like this it's so much easier and less frustrating to just use treasure islands, or get stuff from friends. That's not to say that you CAN'T do it organically, but for me (and I think a lot of people) it's more efficient to use treasure islands. But thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the island, and I can't wait to see what you create!

I tried a small perspective build on my old deleted and undreamed island, but it did not look nearly as good. I would like to try one again in the future. I never knew about adding some doll houses at different heights. Where is the link for that picture from big items and small items, and… if curious, what are the actual names of the items. I know the big one was the frozen pillar, but I am not positive. I assume the floating blocks would probably not work, except on the lower level. Or way in the back. I knever thought about stunted trees, but that is a cool idea.

I wrote down those items, in order, for future information. Could the floating blocks be used, and if so, where? By the way, since more than an 8x8 area is inaccessible, does that lower the town rating?

@@TracySFirestone Of course! I'm glad I could help. I see no reason why you couldn't use floating blocks! I'd probably put them toward the back since they're so tall. And with the town rating I'm not sure, but as far as I know having an inaccessible area will only impact your rating if the area is 45+ squares out of that chunk of the island grid. I don't think this build impacted my island rating, but again I'm not sure. I see no reason why you couldn't do a perspective build that was slightly smaller, though, and if Isabelle says it's hard to move around on the island then you can just adjust it until she's happy!
