Getting everything ready to start working on the roof, putting the support logs in place under the end of the balcony and the log I pulled on top of the log house 1 month ago. Now everything is done, next step is the roof.

Right? You`d be sitting there, looking at the marks in the wood,at each nail and remembering how they got to be. That the porch support log was being put down at the sunset, that you nearly felt down trying to place this log here and that log over there. Each nuance. And I imagine this all would make you appreciate the cabin and care for it even more.

I'm remembering day 1 of this cabin build. It's been hard work and more hard work. And having the privilege to see it all coming together, with all of the challenges and tricks of the trade is amazing. I'd like to see it through until It's completely done and your sitting on your balcony enjoying one of those beautiful sunsets. Thank you for having the mind to share this with us.

Nice to meet you. I am Japanese. My name is Jota Inui. I was a teacher for 27 years, but I had a stroke and had to quit my beloved job. And now, I am creating woodwork art works using world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I have a variety of disabilities due to cerebral infarction. The right face has pain from being cut with multiple kitchen knives. And the left lower leg was left with a disability that was burned by the gas burner. Except when I'm sleeping, I'm living in a living hell of intense pain. In that living hell of pain, I am creating fishing charms and woodwork art works using the world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I watched your KZbin and was deeply moved. Because you are challenging yourself with a very difficult task by yourself. And you are always working hard to make your dreams come true. Your home build is amazing. When I look at your house building, I feel that you are creating a work of art called a house. When I saw you working hard, my heart warmed and I thought that I had to work harder. Even though I am disabled, I have much to learn from your way of life. You are such a wonderful human being. I respect you with all my heart. And you give me the strength to survive. Sincerely thank. thank you very much. I look forward to your success. you are a really great human being.

This structure will outlast him and his children. One of the wonderful things about our times is in future generations, say ten generations down the line those distant future residents can watch the story of this build and it's maker. I don't really know anything about my Scandinavian and English ancestors other than what little they have written in journals passed down to my family. To be able to see him on video and talk to the camera, watching the him saddle the logs etc is an amazing gift to his children and their descendants. These videos will ad a wonderful historical provenance to this structure. Much respect Nik.
