Can't wait for part 2! I'm a retired Respiratory Therapist and did my share of time in the back of ambulances transporting patients and love to see what you are accomplishing with the space! They are certainly decked out with goodies I'm glad you can repurpose.

Glad you time-lapsed the video with no audio. I imagine the language got pretty strong.

😂 It always cracks me up when people utilize machines and never properly double check the work to avoid any possibility of errors before handing it over to customers. Then to add insult they blame the machines with the intention of avoiding responsibility and often times blame the customer in one way or another. Glad to see your experience wasn't as bad as some I've come across, nevertheless it still sucks. Well done, looks like a ton of fun 👍 .....lots of hard work, but fun. 😊 Stay safe and well out there 🤙💜✌️

You two have done a great job insulating the ambo. Kudos on the spray insulation, 1 and only time I did it in my garage foundation to sheet rock wall seams I sprayed WAY too much and it ballooned out. Those blueprints in your head are always the best because you "see" the vision. You remind me of...me...checking and then adjusting 3 more times then deciding on a solution. Nice shop, 239 area code puts you in Collier County.

I'm guessing you tried to use a stab/reciprocating/sawzall type saw for your bed. I found out the same way you did, hard way, that type of saw is definitely not the saw you should use if you want to preserve the thing you're cutting. A portable jigsaw might be better, or it might not, I don't know.

Nice work, guys -- looking forward to seeing how you do the window AC. I just got my window AC and am starting to work on the bypass so I can remove the ambo AC unit and somehow put the window AC/ducting where the old one was. Can't make my mind up if that's where I want it. Your location might be a good option for me too.

Awesome work guys! I too have a c4500 ambulance conversion and am considering the sound deadening treatment for the cab because it is pretty noisy at highway speed, as I am sure you too found out. Did you have any trouble getting the flooring or headliner to fit over the Dynamat? Thanks and keep up the good work!

Ambulances are great for shorter people, I would do a roof raise.
