I will be 72 in January. I have watched you and your father build this cabin from the beginning and have enjoyed every second of it. I have been an outdoors guy for as long as I can remember and watching your videos of this great build has kept me inspired for the outdoor life. I just got back home (Washington State) from a week-long Montana deer hunt, living out of a wall tent (and no not guided but a DIY hunt) that a good friend of mine have done for over 40 years in Washington state, Idaho, Montana and Colorado and to see your video, albeit 4 hours long and worth every minute, made me feel so relaxed and humbled. To have this video and the memory of your father brings tears to my eyes. God bless you and your family.

@johna.9742 Those hunting trips, camping in the wilderness, in a walled tent for a week, sounds wonderful. Keep doing it for as long as you can. My grandpa is 100, and he just completed a 3-day hunting trip with my family. He didn't carry a rifle, and he slept most of the time, but he was in his element. 😄👍

It shows me that there are still good, kind, caring folks out there. And it gives me a well needed boost in the hope column Not only for my own experience. But for my thoughts of which direction this world has gone in in the last 8 or so yrs. I'm sure that many people would agree. For all the evilness that goes on. You'd like to think that the whole world could become a better place. And that with all of us working together. We could rid the world of most of that evilness. I'm not sure we could get rid of all of it. Bcuz there will always be the good and the bad. But i just wanted to say that your video and the correspondence w/the viewers. Lets me know that there's still hope for the great of good. A big shout out to the viewers and this wonderful family who put in an outstanding amount of time, creativity and effort to share not only the building of a beautiful home. But their personal experience of not only losing their loved ones. But their mom & dad. I'm gonna say thats about as bad as it gets. Anyways I just wanna say thanks again for sharing your story.
