Hello Kathy, glad you like the cushions and colours. we think it looks great. The pain with the oven just seems the way things go at the moment. And we won't be buying from that supplier again as after care service was shocking. No discount and no swap out. They will get a really nice review from us pretty soon. But we don't dwell on that, we got bigger fish to fry. Bless ya Kathy.

Awww Fran, I hope you are feeling better 🤗 I love the colour of the dinette cushions (and the scatter cushions) They bring a lovely bit of colour to the boat. If I was you I wouldn't touch the comfy chairs with a dye. I have seen some right disasters! They look fine as they are 👍

Hi Ann, shes had a tough week, didn't make work on Thursday. But hopefully will feel better soon. Glad you like the dinette colours Ann. I don't think we will be using anything other than leather food on the chairs, we quite like them as they are really.

Another great vid, looking fantastic, like you say, you have to adapt to doing a bunch of different jobs all at the same time, more so the closer you get to the finished product. Cheers Nigel. Thats the only way I think, as there are so many, its difficult to concentrate on only one. And they all interact with each other anyway. Sunday dinner was lush. Was a great moment for us. You'll have to sort one when you get your boat.

Hey Keith, thanks for the comment, Seems quality is lacking on a lot of products, especially white goods. They are built down to a price with a limited lifespan. But all seems OK with it and certainly did our Sunday roast!

Yes compared to the van its bloody great (even though we like travelling in the van, parked by the skip over winter was not the best) We went for warm white on the LEDS, all our lighting is warm white, and we have got the calculation about right.

Another great vlog. Thinking about how the boat was when you started the tongue & groove all those months ago, it is looking amazing. It’s still just under a month until I move onto mine full time. We are thinking of doing without gas. In a 40ft boat, the oven is taking up a lot of useful storage space… Although I don’t fancy cold crunchy pot noodles if the batteries run flat.

Cheers dude, those starting videos seem a long time ago now, its amazing how far we have got in about 8 months. Must admit I'm knackered though, with work as well. No gas is tough I think. You would need to splash out a lot on lithium and go to induction. The draw on those batteries would be huge and an oven on for a few hours would be hell of a load. Diesel is an option and we looked at that too. But, gas is by far the cheapest and most effective, in our opinion. Mmmmm crunchy pot noodle, yum yum.

In your other video you noticed a boat called Otters pocket on the sharpness canal I’ve just put a deposit on the boat next to it? I’ve been told I can’t get the boat out of the water until 8th Aug as the marina RW Davies only take boats out on a Monday? Is there any other marina that could take it out it’s a 57 foot narrow boat Very near they charge £360

Hi Van Demon, congrats on that. Most dry dock have swap out days once a week, thats definitely the case for the two here. (very rarely will they do multi drops in one week). There are three place on the G&S, Hempsted Historic dry Dock, RW Davis and Sandfield Marine down at Sharpness. They all are loaded this time of year. Yes, you have to book surveyor separately.
