You are one busy man. The boat looks fantastic inside and out. Hope you were able to relax for the rest of the evening and enjoy the music festival. Thanks for sharing Fran and Mart. 🙏😊🤗 Kathy

Hi Kathy, I am seriously trying not to be! I'm on my three day weeks now and determined to keep to that. Glad you like the boat, we are really happy with the look now. Festival was good, then we were away back into the country. Glad to have you aboard Kathy, love your comments.

@@narrowboatmoonshine Good for you for cutting back your work hours. Now you can enjoy more time on the boat, get the finishing touches done and you and Fran can enjoy life cruising. 😊🤗

Rats with wings is what I've called them for years. On the other hand (wing) Canada geese are flying colostomy bags. We have both around here thanks to inland lakes and fast food places. I recently received my Nicholson map so I can figure out where I'm seeing everyone at. Didn't opt for the guide as I know where MY bathroom is.😂 Another great vlog and enjoy the party!

Hey Cyndi, Geese are on a different level, but we don't seem to get many in these parts. The Nicholson map will come in handy when we are further afield. Glad you enjoyed the vlog, and we did, sore heads on Saturday lol.

Just say it’s great when you take the boat out. You’ve done so well both of you. I do think Guts are a problem a lot of the time culling should be aloud in some occasions. Enjoy your weekend
@narrowboatmoonshine2 жыл бұрын
Hi Caroline, it was really good. Very nice of you to say so, I actually agree lol. We too think there should be culls allowed under certain conditions, but no one wants to upset the gull lovers! Cant believe people stand and feed them!!!

Back in my sailboat days we had a charcoal grill on the stern. The gulls would come lift the lid and take the food, had to stand guard with a long spatula. The Blues were very big in my town ,we even had floating festivals always the best times. Great to see you guys take a cruise. I was wondering how much time that diesel tank is good for?
@narrowboatmoonshine2 жыл бұрын
Hey Kevin. Thank you for your continued support, really appreciate that. I'm more rock and metal, but hey, blues were the roots of both those. Was so good to be out and about again. At 48 litres that should last four continuous days, which will only occur on the very coldest periods. I have a jerry can that will be easy enough, I had contemplated a line from the rear tank, but thats a long way away and as most narrowboats slope bow to stern, was worried about fuel flow.

Good vid Mart, you’re correct the gulls and some other species are becoming a PIA worldwide due to all the do gooders! Cheers, Nigel

Cheers Stevie. We did have a good time, we are more country now, so a day was just enough. We headed south and had a BBQ the following day (in the rain). Thanks ever so much Stevie.

I’m from a town where gulls are a real pest. They are aggressive and brutal. Especially June - July. They legitimately are a pest. And they crap all over cars ruining the paintwork. Hull crap can melt car paint, especially in hot weather.

Seems we are all on the same page with these rats on wings!

Interesting option on the other KZbin channel. Great video as usual.

Cheers Northernlad. I have being thinking about a more tech channel for a while, those videos don't fit on Moonshine at all. Just trying to figure out the best way to go with that on top of the free videos, like a tech support kinda role.

Never wash boats or cars with washing up liquid. It has salts which damage the paint. Use something designed for the purpose.

All as bad as each other, of course it human activity that encourages them. Gulls take #1 spot for me mate.
