I used V8 Commodore mounts on mine sitting on a bit of box sections where the old delica mounts were. Sent Sam a pic of it on messenger. Nice to see you finally getting onto this. Aisin is the gearbox manufacturer / supplier for Toyota as well as Isuzu and Mitsubishi vehicles, that is likely why the bolting patterns match, the new Isuzu, hilux and triton gearboxes are all manufactured by the same company to this day - Aisin once again.

Yes, the Aisin Warner 4 speed auto was used in many vehicles of the 90's. This means the UZ series V8's will bolt up to the trans of many different vehicles. Toyota, Mitsi, Isuzu also Jeep and even Volvo

They really need to do a 6.4 Hemi swap on that Jeep WJ. They fit quite well with the car intake (don't use the truck intake) and bolt up to the 545rfe trans without any problems. Add the 241hd transfer box (not the 241J) and that thing would be a beast.

If you use the factory ecu them things are known do have leaking capacitors and absolutely rob the motor of power. Also the factory airflow meters hate any form of moisture... best of replacing the dizzy caos and rotors i bet they have massive cracks in them any way.

Totally agree mate. Dont get me wrong, an engine swap with a 1uz into a delica is totally what this channel used to be about and plenty of people would get great info from this vid - if done well. It does seem like this is haggered shit jusy slapped together with zero Fs. I struggle to see a folded sheetmetal lifting point on the 1uz “just snapping” mine has been lifted with the same point dozens of times. Id say the engine got hooked up on the rad support and ol’ mate just yanked the engine crane out. Its more comical than quality build 😂
