Building Paver Walkways around the House - Time Lapse

This video shows a time lapse of my latest project:walkways around the house made from paving blocks. This video timelapse covers all the steps involved in the process, starting with removing the topsoil, installing the concrete edge borders, laying the concrete support layer and installing the block pavers.
The walkways around the house have a dual purpose: on one hand the walkways will allow you to go around the house, even on the rainy days, on the other hand it protects the house foundation from excessive moisture.
This is a one weekend project or at most 3 days, because the steps are straight forward. In addition, I have a few tips for you, so you can speed up the project. Rent a paver cutter because the angle grinder makes a lot of dust and takes more time to make the cuts. Secondly, use a laser level to determine the configuration of the walkways. In my case, the ground has a slight slope towards the back of the house, so we had to make a few steps in the sidewaks. Using the concrete edge borders works like a formwork and you can level the support layer with ease.

Looks great. I have a question. How wide is the sidewalk and what type of pavers have you used (shape and thickness)?

Thanks. The walkways are 32". We have used double T pavers, 2" thick.

It's a mix of sand, pea gravel and cement. We added very little water so we can work with it.

Did you made the concrete edging or you bought. Please let me know I want to do the same project. but cant find ready made edging like yours thanks

What is the height of the steps? Im trying to build something similar to protect the house foundation and the land has a slight slope.

The steps in this project are about 6". But that can vary from 0-7" according to the difference in level of your ground.
