Good Video, But you need to change the battery on your fire alarm.

I love the strange perspective on that first shot - I came here to get a feel for the size of this case and was amazed to see that an adult human could fit inside...

greatly over priced but I love my Pelican case now. Had to order an additional 90" of extra foam for make my bag to accommodate all of my stuff. The system is good, it just doesn't come with enough padding to complete your set up. Be prepared to spend another $100+ on getting your configuration the way you love it.

Don't you worry about the compartments being a bit deep and your lenses etc moving up and down in transit?
@MrCheesyCam8 жыл бұрын
I'm not concerned as everything is fully padded from top to bottom. I never flip my cases upside down either. So they are always laying flat, or if anything i'm just rolling them to the car or to the location. Rolling the case (tilting) is never a problem. The only problem I see is if you are flipping your cases upside down, which I don't see how that could be happening.

If you want the pockets the correct depth, buy some foam to cut up and place in the bottom of each hole. It also means that you don't have to reach in deep to get things out.

@@MrCheesyCam I would have thought this would be an issue if you were flying given you lose control at that point.

Does these cases keep the camera lenses safe and away from fungal attacks?i mean these air tight hard cases?

I believe most Peli cases are waterproof (which is partly why they're so damn expensive).

I'm assuming this is overkill for my equipment but just to ask, is this an overkill for carrying audio equipment, 2 small micro4/3 bodies, 3-4 lenses, and if long enough 2 monopods. Great video as always.

Great video one question I noticed that you placed Vmount batteries towards the top of the case are the dividers able to handle the weight if you set the case up words? Thanks
@MrCheesyCam8 жыл бұрын
Dividers are more than strong enough. The foam on top and bottom of the case also sandwich the dividers and gear.

Hey Cheesy, do you find that the TrekPak boundaries provide enough absorption for your gear (specifically your Cameras/Lenses) while travelling? Would you suggest it? I usually use my Pelican for Vintage Audio Equipment but use the Pick and Pluck and was contemplating switching over to the TrekPak. Just curious about the protection of it.

I’ve been using them for a few years now on almost all of my cases. I’ve never had a problem with any of my equipment. I make sure things aren’t sitting loose, and if I need to have something extra padded, then I may use a small case around that single item (like a monitor with a screen just wrap it up in it’s own neoprene sleeve). I throw all my cameras and lenses just using the trekpak, ans haven’t had any issues.

You wasted two sections of the first divider by cutting in the wrong place, twice.
