The box is look great….love the JL emblem…..it’s going to look great after it is carpet…..can’t wait to see the finishing. I’m still new to car audio & have a question: I look these subs up & they say 600W RMS each, both will be 1,200W RMS power with 3,000W RMS aren’t they going to be over powered or EQ & amp tuning will eliminate that? Watching from 🇯🇲

3k is a lot of power but tuning it and being easy on the sub volume will help them last a bit

I need your opinion on a subwoofer box that I want to build for my two Rockford Fosgate T1D412. The plan is subwoofer up with slot port to the front right. Total Net Internal Volume recommend for both subs is 4.5cu ft. I plan to brace the four corners, centre & port. I'm using SubBox to help with the design, what Net Internal Volume shoud I input to truly have 4.5cu ft after installing the braces? Also the manufacturer recommends Tuning Frequency to be 40Hz, if I Tune it to 35Hz will I be shortening the life of the Subs & it would be best to purchase Subs that can be Tuned @ 35Hz? I'm not sure if you have video's on port area, port length & tuning frequency, if not, making video's like this would be truly appreciated so person's like myself who's new to car audio can understand more.

What gauge nailer do you use? I'm experimenting on my next box with dowel joinery but I want some nails and glue as a back up.
