the one on the side prevents accidental discharges from the capacitors and thepower converters against the metal, at that point the voltage is still big and the amperage too, so the protection is to avoid accidents and hurt people

I have seen several of your videos and I am curious about the cleaning of the fans, don't the fans of the Pc get damaged when they are immersed in liquid to clean them? what happens with the lubricant that they come from the factory?
@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew2 ай бұрын
If you use Isopropyl alcohol ( 96% to 99% ) and distillated and de-ionized water than the cooling fans and the electronics are fine. The booth are not power conductive, especially de-ionized water because de-ionized water has no ions. Degreaser is conductive and can wash out the lube, but wont cause any harm at short use. And yes, many times after washing cooling fans, the fans must be lubricated again. Usually I'm using silicone oil, but silicone oil in tube not silicone oil in spray cans or similar or in some cases 5-40 or 10-40 synthetic motor oil.

Yes but in de-ionized and distillated water, even you can wash the whole motherboard. De-ionized water contain no ions and is not power conductive. You can wash many electronics but NOT sensors, displays, camera lenses and everything similar that is very sensitive
