I have to say that you have the most underrated poker channel on KZbin. Your videos are so clear, well-structured, and easy to understand. I love the use of visuals, which helps to simplify often daunting concepts for poker learners. Thank you!

Hey James. First i want to say that you do an incredible job. If you please make a video about tilt control. Even though i usually crash micro stakes games , i can easily forget about bankroll management when i am angry on the game and still end up losing all of my money. Thank you.

I'm still struggling with why I need to know the raw number of combos if I can estimate villain's range in percentage form versus my hand. For example, if I assume that villain has an opening range of roughly 10% (about 130 combos) and I have QQ which is roughly a top 2% (about 26 combos) then I can estimate my equity to be about 80% either way. 2%/10%=.2 or top 20% and 26/130=.2 or top 20%. I'm just trying to figure out a shortcut I can take to estimate my equity in real time and for me it seems easier to do that with percentages instead of raw numbers of combos. Am I thinking about equity completely wrong? Thanks for the help, I have learned a ton from your videos and I'm about to being Core 2.0!

Late but it's because what counts as the top of a range changes based on the street you're on

Great content! I wonder why you count only suited as broadway cards? I was almost sure that broadways are any cards higher than T regardless of the suit, but I might be wrong

Cheers! You are correct on the definition of Broadway cards, do you have a timestamp for a spot where I messed up the count?

Any chance you want to run a competition first prize this book? I mean I'd buy it, but I'm currently stone broke, so I'll happily compete/jump through hoops/make a hilarious buffoon of myself on the internet, especially if I stand a chance to win this/help a charity. A guy can dream can't he XD

Do the VPIP and PFR percentages give us a fairly accurate percentage of there hand ranges?

With a big enough sample size, like 300-400+ hands on your Villain you should be able to make pretty accurate assumptions on their ranges but also remember to look at these different numbers in regards to what position their opening from to make the best decisions.

Great video, I have been considering buying PokerMoose for my preflop ranges, any chance you could do a review of their free trial in a video, im interested in your view of it.

I believe there's an error with the positions in page 67. It says "The SB open-raises to 3 bb and the BTN 3-bets to 9.5 bb" when it should be the other way around.

Great lesson! I got a question: I struggle to define the range of starting hands in final stage of the tournament, when blinds are very high. For example, in the first stages of MTT, I usually raise in MP1 position with 55 hoping that I hit a set. How can I adapt my starting hands range to that stage of the tournament? Tks a lot!

Later in MTTs you'll be doing a lot shove or fold, either as the open raise. Limping is actually more complex as you have to figure out the price you're offering your opponents to shove on you now. In general, open limping is rarely a good strategy in any form of NLHE.
