Don’t see too many Ferraris that particular color. It looks really good.

British Racing Green is a very beautiful color on those old cars like the Jag e-type, Aston Martin DB5, etc. but the interior needs to be a tan color to really make it pop

Please remember when using paint stripper to also wear a respirator. A friend was killed by the fumes on a major piece of work.

I don’t know how I stumbled upon this channel, but oh am I glad I did. This Ferrari looks fantastic! I know Ferraris are designed in red, but I’ve always been partial to green on sports cars. Out of curiosity, how long does it usually take to complete a build?

Thank you for the compliments! Each model is different but I would say usually about a week🙂

I love the quality of your work, excellent! 😍 Question: would you consider doing the weathering of a model, maybe a racing or rally car or even just a road car that has been driven hard? I love cars with road and brake dust etc. Thanks!
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the compliments! Yes i plan to do some racing cars with weathering effects, even some crazy off-roaders with full on weathering effects🙂

Nice work! I’m surprised you didn’t put the decals on before you sprayed the clear coat?
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! You could do that too, i spray clear coat over decals when the customer requests it👍

hi friend, where can i find the tamiya sanding sponge 10´000 grit? I couldnt find that on Ebay
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
Tamiya don't make 10000 grit sponges, Godhand makes them👍

I wanna try something like this, where do you get your decals? Where do you let your model dry?
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
I just bought those decals from Ebay, i dry my models in my work shop, cover them with a large plastic container and leave it for at least 48hours to dry clear coat👍

What grit sand paper do you use on the doors to smooth the lines out and when you did the primer. BTW you attention to detail I aspire to be. I am working on a 19 mustang diecast doing the same thing you have awesome instructions 👌
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
On the bare metal, i would use 400~1000 grit to get the lines correct. And after the primer, use Tamiya 3000 grit sanding sponges👍
@bigben80573 жыл бұрын
Hi. Does Tamiya primer adhere well to the metal surface? I tried, but my primer does not hold (
@ModelCarMods3 жыл бұрын
I had no problem with Tamiya primer on metal body, make sure to sand the body to make it little roughly so the primer can stick better. Or you could just use the automotive primer for real cars👍

Unreal build quality! Fabulous work technically! However, what comes to the original Ferrari ordered in British Racing green..what could be wrong in a persons head doing something like that? Ferraris are not supposed to be British Racing green, British cars can have that color. The color for this car does not fit, regardless of how well it's done. Simply looks out of place. Sure i understand who pays decides the colors..but there must be something wrong in such persons character/head. That particular Ferrari looks like a tojota or whatever Asian "supercar", doesn't look like a Ferrari at all.
