Definitely the fake aging. Looks like this model was found on a coral riff next to the Titanic. My exact same 1/18 Burago diecast model from the early 80s is still in a pristine status. Ranges from 20 to 100 (the rip-offs) bucks on eBay.

Love the way you Faith the aging process. Using the paint stripper and then rinsing it off before it had enough time to fully strip the paint off. Was excellent. Like the way you Wheels halfway off and messed up the front grill to make it look like it's been sitting out outside in a dirt for years. But why don't you just show us the whole process to begin with instead of trying faking all that stuff. We would like to see it from the beginning. You can still mess it all up if you want to would, we just like to see you do it. If we're not fools we know what you're doing

Fun video! My brother and I were rabid model builders as kids. Firecrackers ended most of their lives as they tried some death defying jump in the backyard. Why not skip the chemicals and go with a simple corn starch sandblaster? Safer for you and better for the landfill.

No, it forms a granular layer of white Al oxide. Though I suspect this was made of a zinc alloy, and that doesn't corrode. Ohhh ...I just got that! Good luck ;-)

I am not sure that I believe that there is not used a “diner” toy car. The final assembly shows new parts that are clearly not fabricated and are missing from the start. Still nice work, but I think the video needs to be honest about that. Eg dashboard. Motor parts suspension etc.

finishing a hike in dead horse point state park when I saw a 1959 testarossa drive past me. It was a group of testarossa owners who meet every five years to drive their cars around a specific area. I went to look at the 59 testarossa and then the 57 testarossas started to arrive. one after the other. there were 6 or 7 in total. my favorite car and they were in immaculate condition. what a day.

Those are repops. The markings on the bottom are different. Hot Wheels does repops of some of their highly collectibles too, but they cost a fraction of what the originals are worth.

Only one thing. This is NOT a model of the Ferrari Testarossa introduced in 1984, but it represents the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, so called because of cam covers painted in red, a tradition shared with other models. at 1:19 on the bottom, under the Ferrari logo it can be read "250 Testa Rossa (1957)"

For the exhaust I'd use oil pressure gauge copper line , easy to bend and look more realistic and it doesn't look like electrical wire .

From the website of the Bburago company that built them. They are still very much in business and offer nearly every part needed to fix or rebuild them. Even on their newer models.

thats not a 1984... this is a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, or 250 TR, is a racing sports car built by Ferrari from 1957 to 1961.
