Is the wall thickness the same from to to bottom? Or is it thicker at the bottom so it hold the weight from above?

Great question! It is the same from the top to the bottom. Just engineered concrete and rebar to withstand the pressure. There are 16" holes about every 3 feet around 70 feet deep every 3 feet around the diameter to stabilize the foundation to keep the ground from settling.

Very random, but how thick should the walls be on a silo that is ~25' diameter and ~65' high? ...also roughly how expensive is a silo (like the one in the video or my hypothetical 25'x65' one?)

That depends on several factors. I can tell you these silos are 50' across and 120' tall. The outer walls are 7 1/2" thick with 4000 PSI-engineered concrete and rebar to withstand the pressure. There are 16" holes about every 3 feet around 70 feet deep every 3 feet around the diameter to stabilize the foundation to keep the ground from settling. The PSI of the concrete depends on several things including the soil beneath it as well as how fast the leg carrying the leg is running. The cost is usually determined by bushel volume. We used McPherson Concrete out of Mcpherson, Kansas to build these silos: mcphersonconcrete.com/. Someone like that could be better suited to answer those questions and give you a price. With all the supply issues and inflation, there's no way we'd be able to build this now for what we paid for it then but I can tell you it was in the millions of dollars for this location.

I never considered how expensive silos must be until just now..
