For the 45 degree angle build, could you use the 1x2 spinning bricks? The two-piece brick that rotates, and it's mainly used for swivel chairs? If you put four of those down, you could rotate them all to face the same way, and build on top of it. Because there are four corners, it wouldn't move afterwards. Like so David can see!

Hey David, it's looking greater and greater each week! For the bunker, you know you said you had a problem about the side flat plates? Like when you'll have to build the corner it will be kinda difficult? Well, why don't you "invert" the plates? You could put the "angled" flat tiles below the "normally angled" ones, I think. I don't know if I made myself clear but it's quite hard to explain, what do you guys think of it?

I've got another idea. It could be nice for you to build like holes in the beach, with dark-tan slopes, like if the AT-ACT shot there and blew a hole in the beach, it would add some detailing.

Hey David I just wanna say thank you for doing this. I watched Kashyyyk from the beginning and I always looked forward to watching a new video every week. That was when I was about 12 and now being 15 (almost 16) watching you build Scarif just brings back so many good memories of being a kid, building and playing Lego, watching you build Kashyyyk and just loving Star Wars. So keep up the amazing job, never stop doing this and thank you :)

TheFettuck No. He means the new battlefront made by EA games, the sequel to the one from 2015... which is basically a star wars version of Battlefield 4. The 1st one was just BF4 with no campaign, different maps, star wars skins added to the characters, and different animations for the guns so they shoot lasers

ShadowOfDeath24 I am not saying u have to like EA's battlefront but saying it's just bf4 is straight up dumb. I even got the original battlefront 2 on my pc for nostalgia and leading up to the new one in 2015 and the original, in ways, is more like battlefield than the new one.

for the bunker, instead of having it at a 45 degree angle, since it splits a right angle evenly in half and doesn't make any Pythagorean triples, you should make it at a different angle to make it more fancy. make 6-8-10 triangles and use the 2x2 turntable. this will ensure that the baseplate never bends, because it uses 100% legal building techniques, and it will stay firm on the baseplate because t has more studs that the hinges and jumper plates combined

For the island, you could put it in the far corner and leave more open water space, that way it won't look like the water is just flowing straight through a gap in the beach

you should put a TIE reaper in their, its the ship that brings the death troopers on to scaif it looks like a striker but has a boxy hull like the first order dropship

if you want a little side island but dont want it to look like a river have a go at making a sandbar. could look really cool and is a common occurrence in tropical areas like the Maldives (which scariff is based on)

you should maybe do a tiny island with maybe 1 or 2 trees, and maybe a dead trooper

There are numbers of studs like 6X6 ( which is the smallest but they go all the way up )where you can turn it at a 45 and it will fit perfectly at the corners why use the complicated jumpers. Use one of the larger working combos and it will snap in perfectly. You snap it in at the four corners with 1X1 plates and then where you were putting the jumpers you put normal tiles so the entire building rests on the tiles but is held on at the corners perfectly.

you should make the doors for the bunker open electronically and simultaneously with a hidden button somewhere else in the moc, that would step the bunker up even more than just rotating it.

David, I know how to do the corners of the bunker. Remember the pieces used at the front of the lego clone walker battle pack, the small 3x3 something? if you ordered say 8 or so, you could use them to cover up the corner.

Heres an idea: You know this flat water from SWEAT? Where Troops can walk over? Maybe you could include this flat water into Scarif? Maybe by putting 1x2 sand pieces under clearblue trans pieces? Would be awesome ;)

I think that instead of the 1 by 2 plates with a stud on top you could just use 1 by 1 studs so that it won't be that hard to cover up. Great video and good luck at Star Wars celebration!

you could also use wedge plates with a 45 degree angle and tile the floor under it so that you can add a square plate in there

Definitely go to the panels! You don't need to sleep over night I went in early in the morning like 8am and got a wristband for rebels season 3. Also if you sleep over you will most likely get free pizza from Kathleen Kennedy or Ryan Johnston!

I think it's a great idea to make a bunker/landing pad and I personally do not mind it. But it would be a nice touch if you put a ship on the landing pad like Krennics imperial shuttle.

Instead of a landing craft like in the movie, maybe put a tie striker on the landing pad? I know you said you already plan to incorporate them in the MOC but that could be a good place holder as opposed to building a big custom landing ship

Ah! So Scarif is going to be a lot bigger! I thought is was quite small to start of with. Well smaller than kashyyyk anyway. Also, the 1x2 with a stud in the middle is called a jumper plate.

Concerning the 45 angle, why not use the mew 1x2 wedges? I don't know about their availability in tan, but that could help immensely with locking in the base. And on that same train of thought, you could do something similar to separate the platform and the bunker. I have not tried that, personally, so it'd be a risk. Otherwise, everything looks awesome!
