Thanks a lot, Sarah Jane. Hopefully you can avoid some of the mistakes I've made with the nose! I have a lot of work to do before the next part.

@@BOABModels not mistakes, it's called modelling :)

Awesome work on the kit. Your kids' voices in the background made me think I was losing my mind. I ran upstairs to check on mine more than once, haha.
@BOABModels2 жыл бұрын
Haha sorry - were you using headphones? I try to remove all the background noise but sometimes I don't notice things like that.

Very good progress there Thomas! Carbon looks very nice! Very fiddly these F1 kits, having a few issues on my Tyrrell P34 build, but hey ho, all a learning curve!
@BOABModels3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Paul. You're not wrong. After this experience, the next F1 car (especially Fujimis) are going to get a proper dry fit before paint.

Nicely done Thomas, especially like the carbon fiber detail on the suspension arms. You've really wet my appetite to build another F1 car.
@BOABModels3 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, Alan. I've been really happy with how the carbon fibre has gone down.

Thank you for sharing your/this video I have been thinking to get a F1 car but I can't work out how big it is but after seen your photo's and this video I am going to get one, I don't what Ferrari I might even get older.

No problem - they are a really cool model to build. There are 1/24 scale kits from Hasegawa and Revell too. If I were you, I'd try a Tamiya kit from the 1980s or '90s as I think they might be the best way into these kind of kits.
@DudleysScaleModelcars3 жыл бұрын
@@BOABModels I know what you mean I was looking at 80s or 90s at the start and then I seen them F1 looking at trucks to at the moment

Awesome progress. Such a shame alll that nice detailing will be hidden away once the body is assembled lol. Great work on the tyre wall painting too, looks so much better in my opinion than the decals
@BOABModels3 жыл бұрын
Haha - yeah, I know. I would have tried to make the engine cover openable except that I'm planning to do this as the pit stop diorama anyway.
