BUILDING STREETSPEED 717'S BEAUTIFUL C6 ZR1! (800 WHP)

In this one we have a little fun around the shop and complete the build of @StreetSpeed717's C6 ZR1! We install a full cam package, headers, ported blower, E-85, McLeod clutch, and many other goodies in this beast! This thing sounds nasty and we know Mike is gonna love it!

You guys don’t worry about the chains ⛓ digging into the aluminum block when you’re lifting it up out of the car and putting it back in ???? It looks like the chain is against the block and really tight and that looks like it could cause some problems with the aluminum block and heads

Green Loctite is equal to blue Loctite. It is for bolts which have already been assembled. It wicks into the threads.

I love Vettes. I have a C5 with an LS7@617 crankshaft HP. Had typical valve guides wearing out in 20,000 miles. I'd be REAL interested in how many relatively trouble free miles you get out of 875-900 crankshaft HP. I wish you luck.

Mark my words mike keeps this car. He loves c6s and it’s a manual. He’s a real driver and will enjoy the vehicle . Something special about these cars. Funny thing is that you’re more likely to see a c8 or c7 ZR1 than a c6 ZR1 on the road
