I am new to Islam. I contacted nearest Masjid (76 miles away). I was visited once by the Imam. Have been told I am too far away so they cannot be bothered with me. No teacher, no Imam, no mosque......I am only Muslim in this small town. Need prayers. Doing my best to learn via internet. Allah is guiding me well but would like to be part of the Ummah also instead of pushed aside by the Ummah.

Dear brother, acquiring knowledge online can be quite dangerous specially when you are a new convert and don't have any knowledge about the nuances of islam, i have a phd in islamic law and i can assure you about two sources, 1 bayyinah as in ustad nouman ali khan, i have been unable to find a better teacher for understanding quran beside him over the last 5/6 years. 2 yaqeen institution : specially doctor umer suleiman and abdullah hudooru who are the leading figures in them

There's plenty of material provided on yaqeen institution on youtube, specially the first series and the life after death, these two are life changing and full of important knowledge for every muslim to know and understand,ofc online guidance isn't enough and it cannot be a replacement for the real thing but its a lot better then no guidance, hope that was helpful, have a good day ahead, may allah help you in your journey, ameen summa ameen

And when you want to help because you think globally, they believe you are weak so they take advantage of you. At the end of the journey, you just try to hide from the wolves everywhere. I use to live in Australia, and the Greeks, Italians, Lebanese and other cultures always helped each other out, you were all family regardless if you were blood related. Many had the largest of their type of stores, and imported goods from their native countries. I am not Muslim, so this is interesting. My step brother was Burmese, he ran a Burmese restaurant, and it still is around today, he imported goods from Burma to sell. They looked after each other. They also support their women and daughters. My boss was Greek, he had 3 daughters, and he told me how he met his wife at a singled picnic with Greeks and their parents. The father's really protected their daughters and made sure that they had a really good future husband. I am sure this is all changed by now.

@@Terminators4U I recommend you to read the story of Prophet Musa (AS) and Khidr. Especially the part where Khidr killed a young boy. There was a wisdom behind this activity, obviously guided by divine inspiration and not by human knowledge.

These non Muslim communities help young woman's businesses too. these communities also focus on their women, instead of putting them in the back, in a corner with the shoes. You need to realize women are just as important as the men. You cannot put the women in a separate, segregated arena. Or else men and women will never be helpers of one another. Women work, women are in public places, women are everywhere - except prominent in the masjids. That has to change.
