I must say it's so nice to see puzzlers with cats. My little cardboard connoisseur was my biggest concern about getting into puzzling -- especially the big ones! Seeing you manage these giant puzzles despite your cats is inspiring. 😄

Thank you! Grace is actually pretty good usually. He gets in the way more than he really destroys. For example he likes to just lay on the puzzle as I’m working on it, or lie on top of my box of pieces! 😆 I am still careful though - best to be safe when it comes to cats and puzzles I think! 😻

Hi from the UK! Thank you so much for your comment - I will definitely show you when she finally puts it up - she still hasn’t, so I’ve no idea when she will get around to it - maybe I need to give her a nudge! 😆

Congratulations on finishing this gorgeous puzzle. I was touched at how emotional you were when the last wall piece was placed. I really enjoyed watching your adventure and I look forward to see your other videos.

Time-lapses of giant puzzles are just so relaxing - thanks for posting this! I feel like I have learned a lot on how to approach puzzling by watching your videos, piece sorting and such, so thank you for that. I’m glad you were able to find a good home for this one, I look forward to seeing a picture of it all together and hanging up. I think the 9,000 piece dragons puzzle will look fantastic; I am very much looking forward to seeing that one come together. Happy puzzling and “Hi!” to Grace. 🧩

I’m so glad you like my time lapses and and have learned a lot from my videos! I was really happy to finally pass this puzzle on to my sister just a couple of weeks ago. I keep asking her to put to put it together on the floor, just so she can look at it. She is just so busy all of the time, but I’m sure she won’t have it sitting in the box for long! As soon as I get a picture of it up, then I’ll pop it in a video and show you all 😍. I will say hi to Grace - happy puzzling to you as well 😃

Oh geez! Saw that I had an alert on KZbin from your channel and I pounced like a puma! I love your videos!!! Saw this video at least three times. It’s always nice to see Gracie. I also have a Gracie too… she is a girl through and through.

Love that 9000 pc dragon puzzle! I've been keeping my eye out for it for awhile. I love dragons too but the only thing is they sort of suck to do as a puzzle. All those scales look the same! lol

Hi! This is a re-upload, so you may have seen it before! I made a mistake with my music credits on the original video, so I had to re-upload with a new description and fix the credits mistake. I turned notifications off for this video because it’s an old one, but I’m not sure if it worked or not! Of course if you do want to watch it again, then please feel free 😍

Just did a 2k puzzle and had a duplicate piece. Was quite surprised as that had never happened before. As for this one, I normally really don't care for Disney, but it looks super fun.

I really love Disney puzzles. I guess they bring back happy childhood memories, but this one was really really lovely to work on (except for the wall parts! 🤣)

Thanks for your video. I just opened 9000 museum puzzle. I cannot find a letter on bag for a or b as stated in the notes. I took the first bag, the one on top when I opened box. Can I assume this is A? Email in the notes that are enclosed does not go thru. I appreciate your help. Thanks
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
I can’t remember how they ordered them in my box, but I wouldn’t assume that the top one is A. Is there any way you can try and identify a portrait piece through the bag? That’s what I would do. How strange that they never put the A and B stickers on!

I think I would do a large puzzle in sections. Mainly because I'd hate to have to sort 9000 pieces in one go!!! :D Like most puzzlers I hate sorting, but you have to do it to get to the fun part. Because of a lack of space I haven't done any large puzzles yet, but I plan to start with the Karen puzzles 3000 piece one, and work my way up :D I have seen some comments along the lines of how you're not doing a large puzzle if you do it from the bags, just lots of smaller ones. However, since the end result looks exactly the same, I disagree :D
@Vickymakesandbuilds Жыл бұрын
I have another 9k that I plan to do in the sections. It was a challenge that I wanted to achieve and I was glad I did it. Sorting 9000 pieces is, I will admit, a nightmare! 😆 but, as you say, once it’s done, it was all fun from there! I think that’s a great idea to start with a 3k and work your way up! I hope you enjoy it. I sort of half agree with the view about sections being smaller puzzles. The only thing with that is, in many cases the sections are snippets of a very large picture so it takes a different approach to tackle it, unless the large puzzle in question is a collage like the Disney Moments puzzle for example. I just think if you enjoy doing it that way, then do it, it doesn’t really matter what others think as long as you enjoy - and I do enjoy large puzzles…a lot!!

How did you get that extra piece of the puzzle I haven’t seen that before
@Vickymakesandbuilds Жыл бұрын
I have had one other puzzle with an extra piece - a 1000 piece Wasgij? It really confused me at first. Never had it with a giant puzzle before!! I will keep hold of it and if anyone happens to have a copy of this puzzle with that piece missing and watches my video, I will happily send it to them!! It’s horrible to think that somewhere out there someone has this puzzle with one piece missing!

@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Great! I hope you are enjoying it? I didn’t hang it, I gave it to my sister to put up in her house. I already have a giant Disney puzzle that I want to put up one day and I don’t have space for another. My sister is a huge Disney fan so I figured she would like it in her house. She hasn’t mounted it yet though - as soon as she does, I’ll share the pictures 😍

@@Vickymakesandbuilds great! you also can share how to put it on. I am planning to put it in kid's room next to bed, but dont want it to be destroyed from kids touching it, so thinking of the ideas how to put it on...

To me, timing is not as important in any puzzle, large or small..what's important is the amount of time you have ENJOYED the puzzle! In your case, it would be everything, except the wall !! To me, timing is only important on speed puzzling.
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
I agree, to be honest, that’s largely why I forget to time myself- it’s just that people like to know how long it takes me 😊

Hi! There aren’t many 10k puzzles that I know of. I believe Educa do a few, but I don’t know how easy they are to get hold of. Maybe do a Google search for 10k Educa puzzles and see what you find. Thanks for your comment 😃

Congratulations! Personally, I´m such a Disney fan that I always consider how images are portrayed in merchandise/puzzles to buy. I don´t like when they combine Disney and Pixar characters or Disney and Fairies characters. Much less live action versions with all the other Disney own IPs. In this case I don´t like that Jasmine is the one on the portrait...when is the Aladdin movie. Don´t like either that she´s with Abu. And I also don´t like how small they made Carpet. Looks like the version from the TV series and made for VHS movies. Just for that I wouldn´t have done it. Another thing is Ursula. While I love Disney Villains I don´t get why she´s there when Ariel is there as well. She took the spot for another character coming from the same movie. Or having Capain Hook and Tinkerbell (no Peter Pan here). Or Alice and Queen of Hearts. Again, missing opportunities.
@Vickymakesandbuilds2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the congratulations! 😃 Overall I love the puzzle - thanks for sharing your thoughts on their choice of characters for the portraits. I don’t have any issues with the villains and I love the way they used different art styles; but I am inclined to agree with you on the Jasmine portrait. That perhaps would have been better had it been Aladdin, or even both or them in the picture. I’m curious now. What are your thoughts on the Disney Orchestra image? Thanks for watching the video 😍

Aw he’s so cute I love cats I don’t know why it’s really weird to have a boy cat with a girls name sorry if that was rude of me to say that
@Vickymakesandbuilds Жыл бұрын
Well, it sort of happened by accident as the name had stuck by the time we found out she was a he! 😆 However I am used to cats with opposite gender names - my sister had a girl cat called Dave once! 🤣
