The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft developed by Fairchild Republic for the United States Air Force (USAF). In service since 1976, it is named for the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II-era fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets, but commonly referred to as the "Warthog" or simply "Hog" The A-10 was designed to provide close air support (CAS) to friendly ground troops by attacking armored vehicles, tanks, and other enemy ground forces; it is the only production-built aircraft designed solely for CAS to have served with the U.S. Air Force

It looks amazing but I noticed your tail slants upwards, whereas the actual a-10's tail slants down some

Looking back on it there a bunch of things I could have done to improve it. Seems like the tail is more of an even taper not really up or down judging by pics like this upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9e/Fairchild_Republic_A-10_Thunderbolt_II_cross_section.jpg I'm looking forward to making one with a parts mod I found that will let me get really close to the same body shapes as the real deal, so keep an eye out for that :)

This is one of the best ideas I've gotten! Can't believe I hadn't thought of that. I'm thinking either hidden propellers or a kraken drive as a stand in for hydrogen/helium, it would take awhile to develop though so give me a bit. I see doing a whole WWI themed vid with this! Thanks!

@@smooneychad Actually made it in a 2d space game called spaceflight simulator, could share it if you want. I had engines in a line inside a fairing, got close to the irl size of a ww1 German zeppelin. Someone has probably already made hydrogen balloons in a kip mod, as that's an irl concept for Venus atmospheric probes. Another idea is a ww1 German biplane with accurate interior, like common seats and a gangplank and such. You could even make a tank or something, IDK cause I'm not a ksp player, I just like the engineering and "haha plane go BRRRRRTT".

Even tho this video was posted 6 months ago, i just wanted to tell you that when you fire at a build, target the build then click the target mode on the sas, this will aim it for you, but its hard to get out of 😅

Install bdarmory, youd dont have to do shit with that overclocking (the exact gun is included)

I just find it more challenging/entertaining to do it in stock. Something cool about using the game to make things it was never meant for but they somehow kinda work lol

how does your computer not melt when the fireworks go off? it got like 24 particles emmiting more particles

It usually drops framerate like crazy. If you spam it the game will basically freeze for a few seconds the moment they all explode, then it proceeds to kill the in game sound for awhile!

They were added with the 10th anniversary 1.12 update, they're in the utility parts section. Hope that help! , :)

I have a Tank for you. Give me your email so I can send you the craft file. Note. The tank is a little buggy and you might want to change out my handmade rotor for one from the DLCs, and while you're at it, overclock the fireworks a little bit.
