Thanks Mike! It really is a fun little build. The most frustrating part was getting the printer the print the parts out right. I have 2 extra bodies I'm now using as paint mules due to some printing issues.

Thanks Chris. It really worked out well. Since I had everything prepped and painted I was able to go in with the project box and a small kit with a minimal set of tools and just sit down and build at the little desk while the wife watched TV.

@@JHartModelworks 😁yes it is but worse I'm was gluing parts of an old Hawk 'Woodie on a Surfari' kit together. It is so far away from 3d accuracy,I was laughing my socks off comparing the two builds,yours and mine. This styrene blob must have been made in the early 60s🤣🤣🤣
@JHartModelworks5 ай бұрын
Some of those early 61's blobs are beautiful though. I have Italeri's Ferrari 250 swb in the stash. sadly the trunk is split in half and I'll have to repair it.
@petesmodelcarcustoms5845 ай бұрын
@@JHartModelworks do you mean trunk lid or is it part of body part..I think I'd try to make or find another depending on damage🤔
@JHartModelworks5 ай бұрын
It's all one piece, but the back is split down the center ... so yeah the boot as you'd say over there is split. I'm either going to melt sprue into sprue goo to fix it o I'm going to cut it out and try to 3D model it.

Awesome build. I have one question. Are you using a lead pencil to apply CA glue to your parts?
@JHartModelworks5 ай бұрын
yep. I use a 0.3 and 0.5 mm mechanical pencil to apply precision glue. When I'm done just run it out a little, snap it off and throw away. easy clean up. super precise. I also use them as precision paint brushes to detail paint things like dash board buttons and bolts and rivets. They are super handy.
