I just found this series and I've really been enjoying it, but I was over the moon when I noticed the FlexPlay episode of Technology Connections in your suggested video list!

That same steering wheel also came in a Factory Leather Wrap. My 1989 GMC Jimmy 4WD had the leather wrapped version. Most 84-1994 non air bag Chevy/GMC truck, Buick, Oldsmobile & Cadillac wheels have a leather wrap version.

Next time soak the leather in water and then work with it. When the leather dries, it'll shrink and look nice and tight.

Nice Video. Just FYI, the refrigerator vent you have seen on earlier coaches is a add on when the owners converted the fridge from compressor type to gas absorption.

great video. loving every sec of this build. Be sure to check the chain drive on the trans axle. Also id consider a holly efi system to help get more reliable power out of that engine...or consider an engine swap for more efficiency. Just beware of a diesel swap and the supporting modifications needed

Love your videos! Informative and easy to follow. I really love your OCD! And it shows in your designs and products. Hope the Bag company is working out.

I should probably be working on the bag company instead of making videos about rebuilding a 40 year old Motorhome. The bag is for sale on Amazon. I sell a couple per month. I need to create a marketing drive for it.

I bought one last month after seeing your videos about the process. Thoroughly enjoying it, I will be using it on my trip to Barbados this month. Wish there was something I could do besides the Amazon review. Let me know if there is, I’d be happy to help.

I absolutely agree with your comments about the quality of the build of old motorhomes, however nearly all motor homes are made of fiberglass and aluminum.

Next time if it's real leather soak it first it'll loosen the leather up and that way you can stretch it once it dries it'll shrink back to its original size. Also there's a leather tool It looks like a scratch awl but it's used for sewing shoes like a sewing machine but it's hand-driven. And thicker leather thread may help you.

What do you mean you can't find good duct tape? Nashaua 357 or 398 are the standard in the commercial sheet metal industry....not cheap to buy but well worth it....find it at Lowe's!

Do you plan to do something to tighten the steering? I find the steering so lose I’m afraid to drive it in any wind. I’m told I’ll get used to it but no, I don’t drive it that frequently and when the wind hits I automatically react as I would normally and the next thing I know I’m swaying dangerously.

If you ever need to jack up the front, do not do it from the side. Jack from front center!!!!! From the side, you will pop out the windshield. Then you will get to replace those fogged before you choose to.

I feel new rv's are somewhat cool compared to 70s motorhomes with all of their features and I don't think Tesla will ever get into rv's because how unprofitable rv's are

Looks like artificial leather, if it is real leather you should be able to make it more pliable by soaking it in water for 24 hours or so, it will also make the leather more stretchy. Just be careful not to pull too hard as the leather will be easier to cut through with the threads.
