Matt! This is just an idea, but I think it might be a solution to many of the problems you discuss in the video as well as others you may have not considered. I would recommend you layout a path around the park that flows with the trails and feature and is at least a truck wide. By simply follow the path over and over again it in a vehicle, staying in the same line, it will form an east to follow path and be very low cost. Not to mention, it will make it easy for riders to get back up to the top, make easy access to features for working, could provide ease if you put in arrogating, and last but not least. If you hold shoots or events it’s can make it easy for camera crews, medics, and spectators to get around. Yes, it doesn’t help with keeping the look you want, but if done right, it could look like a country road that’s been there for centuries. Just an idea, thought I’d pass it along.

For water, there's a great big barn in shot sometimes, the gutters off the massive roof will just run to waste, ask if you can stick a few IBC tanks on the downpipes, run a pipe underground from them to where you want it in the playground.

This- rainwater and a few IBC totes. get a couple pumps for them and power them off a generator. better yet, get a couple batteries and a build a simple solar panel + inverter setup to run the small pumps.

@nobitsapothecary2 жыл бұрын
@@attacklifeuk Yep- depending on where they want the totes and how long they can get the hoses. other idea would be to just get a cool utility cart/UTV and install a small 100g agricultural sprayer on the back deck. then the pumps would be wired to run off the battery of the UTV. That way they could drive feature to feature with the sprayer.

Seeing as you're going with "The Playground" (By the way, love it!) I'd recommend going with Toy names, Start easy with common toys like hot wheels, logo and barbie (Don't laugh, it's just an example!) And later on, y'all can look at more specialized toy names like 8 by 8 Rubix.... Oh, There's my name suggestion for the first jump. Rubix refers to a Rubix cube that you can adjust into so many different patterns. If your gonna build a lot of lines off of that first jump, Why not have the name fit its 'open mindset'. Cheerz!

Hey, howdy from Downunder! As mentioned already, using the surface area of the barn rooftop to collect water, I then have a multi purpose tank and storage idea. If you get a 20 foot shipping container and keep it up high near the barn, then have one end completely sealed water tight, then a sheet of steel welded half way along to create a tank in one half. Use the water from the barn roof to fill the tank. Like any tank installing plumbing for hoses at the base of the tank will give you pressure for all the playground as it all seems to be lower than barn height. Next get yourself a basic Polaris ATV 4WD tipper.In Australia a good 2nd hand one only goes for about 5 Grand or 2800 Squid in your coinage. You can then transfer heaps of dirt and tools all over the playground with minimal landscape damage and then lock the Polaris and all tools in the 2nd half of the container. Also the sides of the container are awesome billboards for advertising Helfare, Red Bull etc, and down the track you could use it as a roll in... Anyhoo, you and Ben make my effing day, Cheers Bruv...!🤟🍻

Ok so if we’re going with playground (love that name haha) then I think rollercoaster is a great name haha. Maybe each line could have its own name this time instead of each feature 🤔 Either way, naming it after amusement park things and playground features would be sick. Stuff like the swings, slingshot, rollercoaster, loopdeloop, drawbridge, ladder, drop of doom, mind bender…. Could be an idea. That or name them after dinosaurs 😂 Naming a jump The Pterodactyl just seems awesome

Hey Matt, love this new series and I have a suggestion. Create a jump where you can do a forward flip into a loop probably made out of wood. It would be called tyrannosaurus loop. Matt if you are having problems with water on the tracks you should consider an irrigation system. I have one for grass and it works perfectly you don’t need to worry about it braking because it sits underground and when they are turned on the just pop out of the ground and do their job. Definitely something to consider to keep the tracks from cracking and breaking in the dry seasons.

@Stokedtman1232 жыл бұрын
Water solutions would be 1) That shed up the top see if you could hook a small tank up to the off run OR 2) Dig a bomb hole with the digger somewhere off to the side and line it with black plastic then see if you can figure a way to use the generator to pump it when you need it. Obviously both would depend how often it rains there but something up the top so it gravity feed itself might be super handy as well 🤙🏼
