Building the Flak wagon flatbed rail car for the upcoming train diorama

Andy-- I am a follower and admirer of your workmanship. I am interested in your airbrushing techniques. For example, you routinely apply NATO Black as a base color. What type airbrush are you using? How much pressure are you putting through the line? And, what mix do you use? What do you thin with? Many thanks DJ

In real life, I would be worried that the sandbags, stacked as you have them, would vibrate with travel and the walls fall down. But I have not seen historical photos either way. Nice job though.

The side to side motion of trains makes vertical sandbag walls difficult to maintain without stabilization. Even stationary sandbag walls over 1.5 meters tall are wider at the bottom.

Yes , if you check out the video on sandbags , you'll see the base, I need lots of figures, but that will come overtime

If you want non-copyrighted music, there is a source to get tons of classical music, and it is all Creative commons (you are free to use it however you want, just give credit). Go to imslp.org. On the left side, click on recordings and then choose composer. If you don't know where to start since there are so many, I recommend starting from Beethoven or Brahms. If you want a piece that is more "easy listening" than choose Mozart or Haydn. After clicking on the composer name, choose the piece - probably out of the symphonies, string quartets, or piano sonatas.

7:15 the closed wagon blocks the view of the flakvierling in the front direction. I don't think this is realistic.

ODDBALL SOK not a flakvierling- that refers to the quad gun arrangement. Vier is four in German.
