Tool maintenance is often skipped in craft videos, and for people just getting into crafting, it can be daunting. I for one appreciate this kind of content. Have you ever used acrylic caulk to fill gaps in terrain? I hear it works pretty well, and it’s paintable.

That is a good idea! Thanks!

Issue with the handle could be you had a chemical (paint thinner / Isotropic alcohol / Xylene ) on your hand when you operated and caused the plastic decay. If cleaning doesn't work, sometimes oil can work. Or go with the Canadian standard Duct Tape for the win.
@TheDungeonMinisterАй бұрын
No paint thinner. Might be decaying from age - it's probably 20 years at least. I like the duct tape solution - the women don't find me handsome, so handy it'll have to be!

Ryobi used make decent jobsite saws but don't be like me, get yourself some blade guards and feather boards for that thing.

I do have the guard. I had to take it off for something and it just never got back on. But quite apart from that, who WOULDN'T want to be like you!?

I see you have a shovel for everyone in the household. Perhaps an extra if someone stops by? I love all videos by The Dungeon Minister. Famous last words, "thats not going to be long, that's a night, that's one evening." I hope you made your saving throw. Are you shooting the video on location, aka just 6 feet, or is that 1.8 meters, from the road? Are you going for National Dungeon Ministers side quest? Hope you get the joke. Peace to you and yours.

Shovels all around! Fleetwood shovels the neighbour's driveway, Touchberry shovels ours, and Bob Johnny shovels our sidewalks. On a good day Fauxfire and I don't shovel anything. I didn't get the joke, but that's hardly uncommon! Sometimes I don't even get my own jokes. Peace!

I suppose so. It would be weird if you showed up and fixed my father in law's table saw.
@roadmarch0364Ай бұрын
Did you think about maybe buying a shelving system at Home Depot, or Lowes? They have some that are 24 inches deep, so that should only leave you with building some "Sides" to keep dust out. And I don't think it would take up much more room than the one you plan on building. Also, look at Craigs list, used furniture is usually VERY cheap. Might find some shelves, or a old entertainment system that might work.
@TheDungeonMinisterАй бұрын
Pretty much every wall is full! We have book shelves, toy shelves, homeschool shelves, pantry shelves, DVD shelves...This one will sit beneath a window.
@adamjaques1Ай бұрын
I think you have got it all wrong - You first need to build a large out-building in which to keep the saw and cabinet.....then fix the saw .....then build the cabinet ...and only then finish the Keep! Estimated time to Keep completion 2.4 years
@TheDungeonMinisterАй бұрын
Ah, but first acquire more land on which to build! 3-4 years!
@jaybakata5566Ай бұрын
@@TheDungeonMinister Yeah, you might want to put up that last wall on the garage so that it is enclosed. That way it will reduce the traffic noise. Just watch out for the Eddie & Catherine. If they stop by pretend to not be home.
