As someone who has suffered from kidney stones, adding squeezed organic lemon to your drinking water has been a huge improvement. It helps to prevent the stones forming and combats the urinary tract infections that often result from the stones. Aside from that, it makes a great replacement for poor beverage choices. Lemons are also tasty and refreshing. And if you're low on vitamin C, the lemon will prevent rickets. Diabetic, no problem. Lemons have a low sugar content of 2.1 grams per lemon of "natural sugar". Cheers.

6:35 So refreshing to see a kid today actually reading instead of being glued to a phone or video games! 🤘🤘🤘I was a Chronicle Of Narnia and The High King guy, and had read the LOTR trilogy (and the Hobbit) by age 10. I even made it a personal goal to read the book 1984 *in* 1984. BIG mistake. Not because I couldn't understand it but I understood it TOO well and my 11-year old self couldn't handle something that depressing. So I wouldn't recommend that one to any of your boys until at least high school.
@TheDungeonMinister
@TheDungeonMinister 12 күн бұрын
Yeah, sort of intense, but Fleetwood has read it! There's very little on our shelves, both the boys' shelf and Mama's and mine, that he hasn't! I was also a High King reader as a youngin'. LotR and Hobbit, too, as well as loads of Dickens, Dumas, etc. Lord of the Flies was the real eye-opener for me!

@@TheDungeonMinister I've also been using it recently. for Dungeons of rooms and corridors it works really well. But I would also like caves and caverns in the Lower Level, and I'm not sure how to do these with Dungeon Scrawl. Any ideas?
@TheDungeonMinister
@TheDungeonMinister 14 күн бұрын
@steveblunden2295 Turn off Snap and turn on Rough, in the menu down in the lower left corner, and use the polygon tool, the one that allows you to draw all sorts of shapes. It's not perfect, but with trial and error and the undo function you can wrangle something acceptable.

It's rather remarkable for a small and remote village to have so many NPCs with any levels, let alone high levels. It's also remarkable to have actual personalities. Well done. Most games I've played, the NPCs are nearly all ciphers. It's a shame.

Another great episode, thank you. When my party wanted to use non lethal damage to knock something out we sort of co-opted the dragon subdual rules. If you stated you were using the flat of your weapon you rolled damage as usual and once the total of damage done equalled the total number of HP the enemy had it was considered unconscious. This worked well for bar fights too, like in the old western movies nobody is really trying to kill anyone and so critical hits would result in black eyes, split lips or missing teeth. Although I guy the boys are too young to want their characters to get into bar fights?
