LOJO here in northern Wisconsin where i fish all the bass will hit is the PUMPKIN colored BABY brushhog only not the regular size. Or any other color not even something with pumpkin in the name. Odd but VERY cool to see someone finally use the exact bait i throw most days. And OBVIOUSLY the white Chatter Bait 🤘

Logo you need to do a video where do you get a scuba tank just like jake on D Almighty’s channel and go in your pond to retrieve all your baits that you’ve lost. Apparently it happens quite often.

Dude you gotta do a catch clean,camp on the river. Provided the fish are edible in the river. Ride down to the hydro electric plant then find a cool spot on the bank to camp and cook up a mess of fish. Could be catfish, bluegill (my favorite) striper whatever is biting that day. Maybe make it a rural king challenge. Buy your gear there and see how bougie you can get the camp site.

ALSO BIG tip fellas here in wisconsin when using a spinner bait or chatter bait and you get nipped at like that but didnt get a hook set on him, bring it in and TAKE THE TRAILER WORM OFF throw it back in and since it has no trailer it has way more intense action and that fish knows he just bit the tail off of a fish now you throw the same bait in but its missing that distinct tail and vibrating way more and fish it erratically. GUARANTEE that bass would have smoked it. plus if he Short strikes it this the trailer isnt there to bite off. HES GETTING THE HOOK THAT TIME 🤘

A swap meet or flea market fishing challenge would be interesting to see. Perhaps limit the items to reels, rods, and hard baits/tie-on baits. Soft plastics and hooks can be from your personal collection.

I’ve got the Abu Garcia Maxx STX bait caster reel. It has a flipping switch on it. If it’s on as soon as you lift your thumb the thumb button pops back up. It stops the reel from letting out more line. I love it for flipping jigs under docks.

LOJO, each Rural King is different. I used to work in guns/sporting goods at the one outside Fort Campbell, we had a few Lews and Abu baitcasters combos. We didn't have many, and I asked the boss about it, he said they just didn't sell as much as the spins did.

I love my stuff from Tsunami especially my rods, but def more of a salt brand that’s pretty big up here on the North East. Own a 11ft trophy 2 surf rod and 7ft carbon shield inshore, and I tell ya it keeps up with my Penn, Shimano, and Diawa stuff.

Farm stores usually has some good stuff in their fishing isle that I've experienced. Not the high dollar stuff but the reasonably priced products. Pumpkin to me, is the same as pumkinseed. If I remember right it came out in 1988. I remember that year I was introduced to that color and it became my go to color and still is. Back then, it was a color that, let's say "matched the hatch" to an actual worm or nightcrawler. When green pumpkin came out, pumkinseed went to the back burner. It's still a very good color that's not used very much anymore. Don't underestimate the old school pumkinseed.

Here is a challenge for you. Viewer submits the rod, reel, line and bait and you go buy it. You have 30 minutes to catch an X pound fish or X length fish. If you win the challenge you keep/sale the gear, if you loose you send it to the viewer/challenge submiter. You could always send a Googan jersey or monthly box as a consolation prize. Could put a max buget on each challenge etc.

The ABU reels are actually highly respected in Europe, Especially the "classic" style baitcasters. For instance the Ambassadeur series, the 5600 and 5601 models are very common for Pike fishing. I use the 56 series myself for Pike. Among other reels. Not to forget that the classic design (Round reel) not low profile, are made right here in Sweden. Swedish ABU joined forces with American Garcia back in the day to create the joint brand. Nowadays its all owned by the company Purefishing. The spinning reels are pretty decent as well. I am curious though, do you guys have the "Made in Sweden" reels there or is it mostly the China/Korea and whatnots? Keep up the good work!

Awesome video! Killing it as always! I have a Abu Garcia Max X 30SPX reel paired with a Abu Garcia Vengeance next generation rod 6ft 6in And it gets the job done! A decent reel for the price for sure! Also used a tsunami combo from Walmart before and caught my PB Largemouth 5lbs 2oz on 20lb line. It man handled that fish lol Keep up the nice work! The Max series reels have replaced the old black max, silver max and pro max. It's the cheap lineup of their revo series now, MaxX, MaxSx and MaxSTX. The baitcaster versions of those are actually halfway decent.
