The very first video I saw on this channel was when the ranch caught fire. I came with no interest in trucks, or dirt bikes, or construction, or anything of that nature and was in it for the fire outcome and subsequent cleanup and ranch life. I'm a quiet geek who wouldn't be out of place living in Silicon Valley and feel that an electric car is my ideal form of transport. 18 months later and I am trying to justify a raised Denali in my life.

For your pipe clogging issue, find some large rocks and put them in the ditch like a dam so that the water can flow through them or over them and they will collect the needles instead of the pipes

If you build a box that fits around the teeth of the bucket and weld a tie down to the bucket you can hang the “grading bucket” from a chain and use a turn buckle to tighten it and losses it so it’s quick and easy to put on and off

I operate the Volvo front end loaders. Crazy to see how a cats whole system is set up. Volvos have 3 levers to pull that are just finger levers. But by far one of my favorite pieces of equipment

Check out premiere 1 fencing. Portable net fencing that stakes in the ground and can connect to battery for a charged fence if the donkeys/goats touch it. Great for makeshift fencing/pasture protection around the job site and don’t have to deal with setting up the metal panels.

Mini ex…get to a scrap yard or metal place and ask for an I-beam. 6-12”. Cut it to length. Then just grab it between bucket and thumb and it’ll work better than anything you can buy. U want to get fancy??? Go buy some 2-3” 3/4” bolts and weld them on one side of the I-Beam and then you can have the option to flip the beam and have small ripper teeth that can help break up surface as you pull material.

Yeah this is Don Olson up in Preskett Arizona I have a John Deere Backhoe with a thumb and what I did was took two old cutting edges and some metal and welded them edge to edge so I had a piece of metal about 6 feet long and about 14 inches tall and I would just grab it with my thumb and use it to grade just like the front bucket on the back hoe you can use that blade just like your front blade I found it very very useful thank you

If your thumb and bucket meet up at the same point then you can just grab a piece of old railroad ride and pinch it between and drag it to grade. Guys been doing that for years 👍🏽🇺🇸
