I’d make it just a 1 car garage, push that wall back so you can do cabinets on the other side with a stacked washer/ dryer in the closet. If you have enough room behind I’d do a second bedroom

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how much time and cost difference there would be? I'm a sparky, not a framer or builder. Looks like he has enough sq footage to build out a clean unit.

I would roll with the two bedroom Idea! You could always build yourself a small garage/shop for all the stuff. Them goats sure are something lol

Make it a 2 bed and build you a nice steel building on the property that eventually you can turn into a new work for it headquarters. Any way you decide I’m sure it will be great and make for some epic videos

Usually septic systems are sized by the number of bedrooms in the structure(s) that feed them. Adding a bedroom may require an upgraded septic system and will for certain allow government inspectors to find some reason to fine you and enhance their pension fund.

I'm not a contractor or anything but for value, I would go for the 1 car garage. If it comes down to it, you can always do a car port or extend the driveway a little more.

Keep the kitchen wall but build cabinets in it that would project into the back of it. Go single car and use the other side for laundry and storage. You can never have enough storage. It will also help keep the outdoors clutter free.

Ryno you need a kett demo saw. Cuts the drywall to the back paper and then you can just pull out huge sheets. It would save you a ton of time and clean up. Plus they only run about 600$
@CGT80
@CGT80 2 жыл бұрын
It looks like a good idea for where you need to be really clean. I always use a coarse sawzall blade for drywall since it doesn't blow the dust into the air. When possible, I will just break out large sheets and cut with my utility knife.

If you make it a 2 bed room and a single car garage wouldn’t be the end of the world. Because who ever rents it still has room for a car and space to work on said car and the extra bed room with a bigger kitchen would be killer and a big selling feature for anyone who looks into renting from you.
