I can't believe how much this railroad has grown, just in the 2 and a half years that I've been hanging around! That bridge is a work of art!! I love to just stand and look at all of the cool little villages and railroad tracks.. It's just like being transported to another place and time. I feel like I'm really there.. standing on a bridge, sweeping a porch on one of the hotels... listening to the sounds and voices of all the railroad workers around me. So realistic!! Watching the shay go past on the track... Man! I swear I can see and smell smoke.... OH! Wait!!! It was smoke!!! There goes Don!! Seems his brass model shay has burned out another light! LOL!! So... It really was unintentional smoke! No worries. All part of the fun, every Sunday with the O Scale Guys!

First-up: Between rains we have "some sun" out here in the great "flat lands" of California, Sackoftomatoes. Y'all come! No but seriously, folks. Steve is not only a talented craftsman, he just does a "number" on his scratch building. His whimsy in what he decides to build is great. Great episode. As always, stay in good health and carry-on with this pursuit of, "screwing around". Greg and Jeanne

What you said about seeing a giant head out the window train car reminded me of The Addams Family. I always lock the Munsters better than The Addams Family but whenever Gomez was playing with his trains it was a lot of fun. I hope Narrow Gauge and Shortline Gazette has a good future ahead of it. It and Classic Trains are the train magazines I find myself buying the most off the rack.

This layout would be a great candidate for a POV cab ride video, not one with a lot of cuts but figure out a route that could run a while and just let it go! Would really love to see that. With all the detail both front and back it would really look like a true trip.
@ToyManTelevision7 жыл бұрын
Have you seen "Honey I shrunk my Perspective?" Not a cab ride but inside the train!
@ByrdMann20107 жыл бұрын
I have seen it and it's quite nicely done. I'd like to see something a bit longer, however, with less interruption or jumps and particularly on this layout if possible. The level of detail on this layout would lead to one feeling like they're actually riding on the train.

And I don't know where, Nowhere is. I remember as a teenager building a bridge over one end of my Queen size bed with Erector set pieces as I had a ton of Erector set parts. Not a single Lionel train passed over it though. I sold all my Erector sets to start my lawn service 25 years ago. And I highly regret selling it.

Buy a new one! Really, get on eBay. Have some fun with it. Steve is spelling it Knowhere. Just built the depot, so needed a sign. And the lake is Lake Inferior.

That bridge is incredible! I bet the engineers and the passengers in those little trains are sweatin' bullets and crapping bricks as they trundle across it. As it happens, I was wondering if you could put me in touch with a friend of yours that you mentioned in a previous video about Steve's layout who scratch builds locomotives. I'm an O-scale 3-railer, and there's a few "oddball" locomotives I would love to add to my collection.

HI! We are all in Salt Lake City. Except when Karyn and I are off screwing around with stuff. Steve is here also, and The National NMRA Convention is here in one year. I am planning a show right away on how to design the layout. Some of my favorite ideas for track plans. I’ve started on my app but it’s not moving along very fast. It’s sort of like me just not moving fast but moving! Steve like spelling my name of the town Knowhere. When he first started on that bridge I said but it doesn’t go anywhere it’s Steve legendary bridge to nowhere! Well the name just stuck.
