I've used a piece of brass tubing as a hole punch for the bolts on the zimmerit. I had used it before on an aftermarket zimmerit kit for my Tamiya Sturmpanzer kit. Worked like a charm.

Thanks! Your video builds w/ classical music lured me back to modeling and, for the first time ever, building armoured vehicles. I am a lifelong Rock & Roll guy, ( I am 67) but the Classical music really works with your presentations. Keep it!

Andy, Use a burnishing tool, rubber or metal to make the zimmeret stick to kit. Can also use hole punch to make decal fit around bolts

Andy you are correct I had no issues adding the zimmert to my Tamiya Tiger II. It went on fairly easy.and still looks good about a year later.

Stay with classical music. I felt like I was on hold listening to this stuff. But will hang and enjoy watching the build.

Music is great. That reggae stuff was good too. Just need something to listen to while we watch you work your magic. Great vids. Very instructive and fun to learn new techniques

Nice job on the zimmerit, Andy. I built this kit and loved it but the zimmerit was an epic fail for me: I gave up and removed it all halfway through. Keep up the great work!
