when cutting a pass through for cables like under the monitor mount if you put a layer of painters tape where you're drilling you get a lot less blowout and a much cleaner cut. i know you're covering them with grommets anyways but i know you like everything to be clean even if its not visible. just a simple quick wood working tip if you didn't already know, Great video as always man, very inspiring.

Love the video. Life saving tip, never use a Dyson to clean up the mess from the wall, you'll ruin the mechanism and filter and the repair is the price of a new one. Use a shop vac as they won't be damaged from this kinda stuff.

Thats pretty cool that the motherboard supports those old mouse and keyboard connections. Could run a sweet old ibm keyboard with buckling springs like a model m or something with no converter.

The key caps will have interference with the switches because the pcb is north facing. And u might consider a pollyfill mod to utilise the gaskets and improve the sound profile even more.

17:00 whyyyyy this one. There’s so many good custom keeb with wireless out there. Also it’s sound very hollow and plasticky. Get something like zoom tkl, qk75 etc. You can buy it aftermarket for a good price.

You can buy 3m magnetic tape, stick it to the usb hub so when you tuck it away it stays stuck to the case, but will still be able to slide it out.

monitor set ups are a big inspiration - but also gonna learn from this to not set a PC on the wall too tall off the ground that makes it hard to reach XD though personally dont know where to put my drawing tablet to make it most efficient for work and position - it still doesnt feel great being on the left or right

Just curious on the cable issue mounting the monitor why not just cut out a wider Oval shape hole that way the cable doesn't need to bend, it will just come from behind the headboard straight into the monitor and you won't need to worry about adapters.
