the biggest thing about building a work trailer is over-securing things. youll always say "that's not gonna go anywhere" however it will Infact go somewhere

I would hide a couple Air Tags inside the trailer, maybe even behind a permanent wall, you can remove the speaker in them too so others can't find them. Awesome trailer and with all that gear it would be an attractive target to steal.

Definitely. I also hope he has invested in a good boot lock and tongue lock as well. Might not even be a bad idea to install a motion detection alarm inside incase anyone breaks in. Trailer walls are pretty easy to get through for a smash and grab.

The only thing I would do differently is to add a white LED rope light along the edges of the cabinets up top. Takes up virtually no overhead space and will give you light throughout the trailer. Other than that, sick as usual! 🤙

Sweet setup man! A couple comments: I would improve from the bungee system. Not only are bungees dangerous for heavy boxes, but also your method with the screws drilled into the top counter surface really impedes the functionality of the countertop. Wouldn't you rather have a clean countertop without the screwheads interfering with whatever you place down? Second thing: add undercabinet LED strip lighting for your countertops! You're gonna want that when the darker seasons come!

looks absolutely mint, might i suggest bed liner paint on the worktops, its hard wearing scratch and dent resistant, offers some grip aswell, easy to wipe down and clean, with tool boxes tools blades lengths of wood ect being put up and down on them daily, its a cost effective solution to keeping it looking crisp for a long time. and it could also be used on the ramp if the white gets to dirty as you can get more grippy versions

Killer video as always, I'm excited to see what this build is leading towards! I totally relate to the frustration with those paint sprayers, feels like you keep getting kicked but as always you make it work. Wish you would've kept the footage in as that's always been a highlight with your work and the channel with showing all the unglamorous pitfalls in taking on projects, but nonetheless this was an astonishing build! I like how some of the carpentry is permanent with glue and screws but others appeared to be only screwed. Yes, less structurally sound but leaves the door open for future refinement and customization as you grow into the space and change your setup. I'd suggest a cleat system or some means of securing things in the open center space for odd objects or infrequently used tools that may be required on some jobs. Keep up the awesome work man, you're an inspiration to us all! Way to keep it real with the look cool be cool mentality by going with the black paint and led lights!

Remember that you cannot use levels and lasers in a trailer, as you don't know if the trailer itself is sitting level, so all the laser lines will not be square to the floor. In a trailer the floor is the thing to square from as it is the "laser level" inside

Some ideas I think I would like to propose: 1) Add a couple of legs to the ramp door to provide you with working deck for your table and/or miter saws, and it will also extend your floor space from inside the trailer out. 2) Add a 270 degree batwing awing for extra shade from the back to passenger side. It also could provide rain barrier when you run "shore power" extension cord to the trailer. 3) Add more lightings overhead that are LEDs. Those lights will sip from the power bank without being a drain. 4) Definitely consider upgrading to a beefier solar panel system. Eventually, you will likely want to add more power beyond the battery banks, lights, and maybe to run your saws. 5) Maybe switch from bungee cord to ratcheting rope system. Painting the ramp, I am surprised you didn't ask the paint counter if they were willing to tint the paint to your preference unless the manufacturer advises against it? I think you are going to wish you had splurge a little bit and got a taller trailer. Being 6'2" myself, there's simply no way I would have bought that trailer because that is the first thing I will look for - can I stand tall without having to awkwardly angle my neck? If no, then I'll move on. With all of that said, I think it's a neat idea and I have seen a camper van video with a trailer that is towed all the time with very neat set up.

I would have done a epoxy flooring (garage type) with grit on the ramp. Left the cabinets just regular ply and poly them. In TX I would also insulate the top and put a ceiling with lights. I would think the black on the cabinets and cubbies will make it hard to find any small parts there without an external light (headlamp or flashlight). The older I get the harder it is to see! It would just be a bit lighter in the with a standard ply and gray floors. Don't forget to secure it with some trackers....definitely don't want to lose it. Also, proper insurance... maybe you could get policygenius as a sponsor ;-)

Your power station has a 12V output. Those LED lights are also 12V, so you just need to run wire to the light locations, and add a fusible link right at your power station. You can get fusible terminal strips that all of your lights can connect to, and then you connect a wire from that to your 12V output on the power station. Fused, serviceable, and legit. Those lights likely only pull 1-2A each, and I assume the 12V output on the power station is capable of 10-15A. The same goes for if you wanted to do LED under cabinet lights.
