I didn't know there was a way to expand my memory with the 3g module. That's AWESOME! I bought it thinking it would give me motivation to go walk around the neighborhood more often but it turned out AT&T didn't know anything on getting my service up and running back in 2012.

Great video. This is a good way to 'recycle' some older hardware too. Are you looking into how to develop homebrew? I would be interested in learning how. Or just the basics, to know what you would need to make vita games. VITA - Vastly Intriguing Timeless Awesomeness.

You can start porting unity games if they are open source or implement simple games with unity using some tools and a moded version of unity.

Well depends what you want. If u own modded vita then u just need some bluetooth speaker or headphones, then ps4 pad and some windows pc preferably one that can be charged from power bank but any other is fine too👍

@Florider_HD I hope you are using the second gen of xbox controller that is capable of connecting via bluetooth. If so then did u use the ds4 plugin to connect your ps4 pad to your vita before? Or did u reboot your vita after changing the config file?

It is the port of the original Postal game for the Ps vita👍 You can connect PSTV to your android smart tv via hdmi but this needs windows pc of some kind plus the OBS as the signal is going through the usb cable so I am not sure but probably it works just with windows👍

There is a way, with the usb plugin, and a usb cam application downloaded on your smart tv. U can get the plugin for vita that turns the screen off when plugged in and there u go my friend.

Damn idk why my 3G vita has different screws on its 3G module. It’s some type of tiny star bit or something.

Perhaps torx screws. They are easily undone

@@ZealousChuck yeah I think your right. Apparently what this is, is that North American models of the Vita have the Phillips. But Japanese versions have the Torq screws. I do know mine is Japanese. Considering Vita isn’t region locked and you can change the language without modding. And change button layout with henkaku settings. Vita is a console that isn’t bad to import lol. So I bought a Japanese version

@@ZealousChuck alright so this is gonna sound wild. So my Torq screws were stripped, and the t2 screwdriver I bought was weak and stripped itself too. I tried using a small pair of pliers and flush cutters another time to gently grip the top of the screw and undo it. Also was not working. So I did something crazy. I slowly cut the 3g module, around the screws and got the module loose, with extra space I was able to get a good grip of the screws. And so I was able to get those out. One of the screw posts unfortunately broke. Which sucks and I was worried about functionality but so far I haven’t noticed any issues. Worst comes to worst I will attempt to tack it back on. Plus I had some spare screws from a boxy pixel kit I got. And they fit where the Torq screws were perfectly. I’m running a few tests and such to determine overall if everything’s ok. But so far it’s all good.

Hi.... I have problem my vita not being detected by PC (Windows 10) using USB, let alone as a camera device. No matter whether I was using Vitashell or QCMA, it seems that the USB connection from my vita is not being detected at all. No notification sound or whatsoever. I'll try to connect to android box (using the USB Camera app) but still no luck. I've tried using 2 new cable but nothing being detected. Not even a Windows sound (as when detecting an USB connection). It seems like the USB data transfer has been disabled/ dead. But my Vita still can charge. My Vita is 1000 model on 3.60 Enso using SD2VITA 512GB full games with 8GB original Sony memory card, working well. I bought it second hand. I have 3 charging cables, all for test, but with no avail. They can charge but nothing on data transfer. When I plugged the cable, there wasn't a notification/ loading icon. What is wrong then?

It could be anything my guess is some compatibility issues with windows drivers...try it on different pc or laptop

Actually.... My $85.00 Black PS-Vita (2000)Slim...I bought from a PawnShop in mid 2019...3 months later...fully modded...with a Sammy 512gb MicroSD-Card Evo and Sd2vita adapter... Now...2022 it is my current Home and Handheld console device... just hook it up with any Android base Smart-TV... Google Chrome Tv... Samsung Tab-S7 or Tab-S8 as a Second Screen attached to a dongle with HDMI output...USB-C'S...using the USB-Camera app...PS-VITA/ Switch...You can use any Wireless Xbox...PS4..PS5 Controller... 🫠🙃🤓

Only vita 1000 was made with 3g module so unfortunately it isnt possible

Well obviously that wasn't the point. You can emulate even vita on laptop. The point is there is no avp on switch or android therefore the only handheld capable of running it is ps vita👍
