Just because you can do all of those neat editing tricks doesn’t mean you have to use them all at once. I actually got dizzy watching and couldn’t tell what you were doing. That said, your talent is impressive. I really enjoy watching you create and build.

Hey man gotta say I love how you're one of the last building KZbin's that do not get gimmicky throughout your video. I feel like we're getting hammer ready footage how to DIY the crap out of a truck build and it's amazing, 🤘

This is one of my most favorite of his builds so far… He took owning a truck to a whole other level 🔥🔥🔥… I’m from San Diego and this would be the perfect truck for going to the beach in or camping and even tailgating.

Thank you! I lived in San Diego for a few years when I was in the military. That was before I was a builder. I would have loved to take a rig to explore the area more. Very beautiful place

@@Dualex_Builds Wow very cool… My family are all military as well… I look forward to seeing the finished product… So far I love watching you work and the ideas you come up with… Your truck is really 🔥🔥🔥 already the roof tent will be the icing on the cake… I hope one day when you go back to building another van remodel and sale it to a fellow fan and viewer I will be able to buy one from you… I really like the work you do especially the secret compartments… That is the highlights of your builds for me…

This is looking awesome! Have you considered Dicor's LAP sealant for the fan and skylight? it may be a bit more robust than butyl tape. I use it on my RV wherever I can, and use ProFlex on every seam. Both are fantastic.
@logun19703 жыл бұрын
2:12 starts the actual video. Also you might think about eternabond tape around your ceiling fan/vent and skylight, that will help keep the water out in conjunction with the butyl tape you used. That and/or Dicor. Use EVERYTHING you can to seal against water. Might even consider using "Red Guard" on all your wood pieces.

You used butyl instead of silicon 👌🏻 but you should use it with the screws to so you waterproof the holes. Here in sweden its allways raining so on my job we use more butyl than we need on the caravans / RVs and then peel the butyl that sticks out 😊 keep up the good work 💪🏻

I’m not sure if it was the video angle, but did the skylight fit? Also, owning a clamshell style RTT, over engineer the weather proofing. There’s something about that hinge being exposed to highway speed winds, and rain that makes the water run in ways that are hard to predict. And even if it doesnt get inside the living portion, it can get stuck between the seal and canvas leading to mildew. You’ve got mad skills and are an inspiration! Keep getting it!

I just discovered your channel and am impressed by your work! I noticed that you haven't been reinforcing the joints on the tubing. Bro!! Love the channel and your work; very talented and all your episodes are informative and entertaining!! I do have a question about the solar setup you are going with. I briefly saw you placed a flexible solar panel on the roof with it looks like Duct Tape. I’ve had quite a few of those flexible panels and they need at least an inch of clearance to breath or they will over heat and not work. If it is temporary, cool, but over time you will notice a drop in its ability and eventually stop working all together. Thanks for listening and keep up the good work!!!
