been a carpenter, developer contractor, hold a mechanical engineering degree, have been several city entities " go to" for advice on difficult building dilemmas. All that said, I cried. Your ingenuity and design prowess just made me wonder why I paid 34k for a tag along to use on my property while I set up my shop and house foundation. I hope you get many more tool sponsors and neat toys to make these kinds of projects. I truly appreciate the time and efforts, put forth to design and build this. HUMBLED!

I’ve seen quite a few tailgate style kitchens built on pull out slides and yours is by far the best I’ve ever seen. Not only did you manage to think of just about everything you’d ever need in a tailgate kitchen but some of your design features are absolutely brilliant. The collapsible slide out sink, knife drawer with built-in magnetic strip are just so freaking cool and I love the fact that you tried to use every bit of available space so that nothing got wasted. I tip my hat to you sir for engineering an amazing pull out kitchen! Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to seeing more of your videos! Cheers!

KIller Build... One important tip I learned the hard way. Either remove the fire extinguisher before using the kitchen or permanently relocate to a non-flamably area of the truck. If you ever have a fire situation with the tank, gas-line or stove a fire would prevent access to the FE.

@@scottwpilgrim $2,500 BBQ went up in flames, the LP tank hose ignited (leak?). We mounted our FE next to the BBQ. We had an extra extinguisher in the garage, but the damage was too extensive to save by the time we put out the fire.

So I just completely trashed my plans on what I wanted to build for my Xterra. I can build anything, but designing is not in the cards for me. I learned so much from this build, so well though out and everything makes sense. Thank you

Epic build. I used your basic concept for my build only with a few changes. The problem I'm experiencing and or my main concern at the current phase is; upon testing the blackstone grill(22 inch dual) the plywood on the sides reached 290 degrees F. Have you had issues with heat after installing the metal surface? I have 1.75 inches of clearance on one side and 2.75 on the other. Too bad I can't post pics here! I could show you the metal frame I built out of 1/16" 3/4" steel. It weighs only about 25-30lbs. About the Weight of one of the tracks 😆 🤣.

Is there enough bolt thread left for you to be able to loosen it enough to take the hook on and off? Wait, nvm, you could just back off the nut a few turns and then unscrew the shackle down below. I was originally thinking you'd hook and re-hook

Thanks! I also build a massive deck in front of my house in the Spring. I did a bunch of posts on Instagram about it but didn't have time to also film it for KZbin. Follow me on Instagram if you want to know what I'm up to between these videos!

By chance could you take it out if you wanted or you would have to disassemble it? I have a double cab Tacoma and would love to do this but it’s also a work truck and would want to take it out if I needed to

First off, amazing build! I have some clarifying questions. 1: How do you fill the water tank to full capacity with the orientation of the outlets? 2: Are the quick connect points different for air vs water? 3: Does the pressurization of the system overcome a vacuum being created while using the water?
@weberwoodshop

To fill, connect hose to bottom and let air out the top. Gravity is not enough to overcome friction loss for water so you need some pressure.
