I have built around a dozen of these and sold them to people who have lost their drivers licenses. I have never had the problems you did. I finally got a Phatmoto and have been very happy with it. I’ve even used it for Door Dash and grocery shopping with a cargo trailer.

Dude, you have to put that tensioner on and I noticed the first time you walked out of your garage you didn’t have it on and your chain screwed up. Put that tensioner on and keep it on. You did nothing but complain the entire video and treat your equipment like crap. You wouldn’t have had any problems had you put the tensioner on to begin with.

Right, but remember the chain had way too much slack if I had just one tensioner. when I took out one link, then there was no longer room for the tensioner, which, in my opinion, is better, I’d rather not use any tensioner, but yeah, when I took the tensioner out, added a link, then I had so much slack I needed two tensioners, just a mess, then the motor started shifting, this whole build was a mess. Got it going though, happy with that.

Been making my own motorized bikes and i've been thinking about making a 2-stroke sometime. I made 5 4-stroke bikes so far and have been selling them and riding them to work. Been lots of fun for a small hobby. Main difference i like about 4 stroke vs the 2 stroke on paper is the fact i don't need to mix gas or buy oil when I'm refueling. That's the biggest plus when I'm commuting 15 miles a day. Love to see when others are into the fun too.

Nice! Have you tried a 4 stroke on a beach cruiser? Seems like that would work better, wasn’t much room on my mountain bike here.

@@jessepittspittstop all i been building them on are cruisers. No matter what frame you use, you gotta widen the mounts. Universal mounts universally never fit

that leaking from the carb u mentioned is prolly the float bowl getting stuck sometimes u can get it unstucks by tapppung the side of the carb if not take it apart and clean it

The first thing I do is throw away the kit chain. They are not worth the grief they cause. ProTaper or Regina Gold are the only way to go... IMO anyway
