Thanks for sharing Graham, one of my XH’s has the dreaded door droop, along with the knock sound when opening. I don’t posses any welding skills but I will give it a go. I have seen blokes put in reinforced plates for extra strength, I did change the door bush on my other XH with brass bushes, far better. Really enjoying watching and learning at the same time cheers mate

Cool idea Graham, I like that, a Surfaroo! Do some online shopping and try to find aftermarket chrome side mirrors that look period, give it some 70s class! Should be great, be waiting to see this happen!✌️

Hey Graham, you should rebadge the first coon you bought, the rusty one, with holden badges. You could then list it as a yew beaut dommadore for sale and you will have the bogans tripping over themselves to get it because it is in the usual condition of a dunnydore anyway. You should have plated the back side of the door repair, because, it will now eventually fatigue along the weld outer edges (the Heat Affected Zone)
