Making some "Armour" dioramas myself.. good to see other folks involved in the hobby!....

Love these videos ... they make great work look so easy and are very inspiring. I was talking recently to a guy who owns a model shop that has been around since I was a kid, and in his opinion young people just aren't into modeling anymore. Mostly it's by old retired guys like me. If true, it's too bad, because I still like to get down to tabletop level with that one-eyed, squinty, perspective-shrinking look and think, "That looks so cool." Keep up the good work, Andy.

Thank you, that is all true but I notice when people hit there late 20's many are looking for some kind of hobby and I have many 20's -40's people doing it

Great Diorama! :) one thing I would've added to make it a bit more vivid is a bit piled orange Grass beneath the trees to emulate the shed needles. With just the grass under them they look a bit sterile.

Its very useful for me to watch Your videos. I find out a lot about my hobby and I improve my English. According the diorama, it seems to me that the trees could be in front of M10. Crew is looking for enemies towards. Or was M10 moving back away of the Tiger tank ,mabye?

Ok so I want to start this off by saying that this a beautiful diorama with great detail I could do nothing eve close to it but please make track lines where the tank was coming from its Facing forward but no evidence of it coming to that spot there are trees behind it as if it was just plopped into that spot
@ericc96648 жыл бұрын
Could it be that the M10 has a reverse gear?
@thogyt7 жыл бұрын
Eric C I agree, anyways none of the trees behind it are knocked down so it technically reversed into there
@enriquechavez45687 жыл бұрын
Transmission: Synchromesh 5 speeds forward, 1 reverse so it did indeed have a reverse gear.

@Fly0High8 жыл бұрын
I have a question. How do you get the dust and the weed to stick to the diorama? Also, how do you clean the dust that eventually accumulates overtime?
@friedeggnchips40958 жыл бұрын
The dust and weed is applied before the PVA glue dries, and you can use a brush to clean the dust of or just get some tempered glass cut at a local place that cuts glass and make a case
@perrylamb62865 жыл бұрын
Either 50/50 white glue and water mix or matte medium. I'd suggest first wetting the scenery material with regular rubbing alcohol to break the surface tension of the glue/water mix. You could also paint the surface of the plaster with regular "dirt" colored latex paint and put the initial layers of scenery material into the wet paint. That will hold the first layers in place just fine.
